Visited Viet Taste on Menaul in Albuquerque and it’s easily the best pho I’ve had. I always order the #16 — the medium rare steak pho — and it never disappoints. The broth is incredibly flavorful, the steak is tender, and everything tastes fresh.
They also bring all the proper fixings with it — bean sprouts, basil, lime, and sauces — so you can build the bowl exactly how you like it. It’s one of those meals that’s comforting but still packed with flavor.
The staff is always incredibly nice and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere too, with beautiful décor that makes it feel warm and inviting.
Overall, this place is a gem. If you’re in Albuquerque and craving pho, this is absolutely the place to go.

The food is tasty! The chicken spring rolls could use more chicken. The lemon grass dishes are so good. We did get charged an extra $5 cleaning fee because we were a party of 7. That doesn’t make sense to me because you’re going to have to clean the table no matter the guests you serve. You’re still asked for a tip, too.

My wife loves coming here! Im beginning to love it quite a bit myself! Large bowls of soup large portions, my chicken pho soup was so full of chicken it was so filling and tasty! For the price too these days its hard to beat! Thanks for the great food!

The food is amazing, I’m such a fan of Pho and this is the perfect place to enjoy it! Waitresses were kind and knowledgeable the only few things is that the mango shake/smoothie tasted more like Papaya instead of Mango and the Egg rolls we felt them way too small. But besides that, we loved the decoration and the great food along with the great service!

We stopped at Viet Taste very hungry after long hike in the Sandias…impressed with clean, bright feeling of the interior & the service Brian provided. He got our order to us right away & it was delicious, fresh & well prepared. We shared order of Spring Rolls & each had Fried Rice, my friend’s with chicken, mine with very crispy Tofu & lots of vegetables. This was a great find & we’ll be back! Btw prices were reasonable too!

I have never walked out NOT enjoying my meal here. It can be packed and busy at times, and at times relaxed and chill. I like the decor overall and the prices. This is a place I’ll often bring the entire my and the bill it’s always reasonable. The food is delicious.

This place has a lot of good things going for it: dozens of entrees to choose from, all of which cost between $10-$12. The portion sizes are generous, and the staff is attentive. This restaurant was super busy, with lots of ordinary folks getting some great Vietnamese food.

Why a star off? With that huge menu comes a cost; some dishes are certainly better than others.
We thought the rare steak meat pho was OKAY but not all the way there flavor-wise. While the banh mi with pork and the lemongrass pork noodle bowl were absolutely fantastic. I felt the papaya salad COULD have been great without so much sauce at the bottom and if there was more of the green herbs throughout the dish. Egg rolls are always good, and they were here.
Went for my partner’s birthday and it was wonderful, honestly. It was PACKED and we were seated instantly.

Friends brings us here as they come in monthly. Foods are all great and it is hard to get wrong. I like the pho/noodles. The environment is peace and clean too. Service was warm and considerable. Price is reasonable. Will go again!
