I visited here for the first time on a certain day in September 2025.
I ordered a chicken fried rice.
That’s very good.
The staff was very kind and helpful.
But they accept only cash.
But there is ATM in the restaurant.
I’ll try PHO next time.

I will do anything to support this hidden gem. I have tried pho all over the suburbs and I always come back to Viet Taste. They consistently nail a classic bowl of Pho every. Single. Time. Crab Rangoon and spring rolls as an appetizer are always done perfect! Thai bubble tea is also one of my favorites. The Pho broth is always rich and you’re given a good assortment of toppings. Service is quick and efficient, and while atmosphere is nothing fancy, it is casual after all. They have such a hard-working team with only a few staff members. If you’re in the mood for comfort food. Viet Taste is always the place to go!!

We have tried Com Dia in quite a few local restaurants and Viet Taste honestly has one of the best Lemongrass Grilled Chicken Com Dis’s we’ve had. My wife had the Chicken Pho with Beef broth. The chicken was shredded and not in giant chunks, which for us, is a more tasty option. We will definitely be returning and this establishment only accepts cash, but there is an ATM in the cashier area.

Cash only — there’s an ATM on-site, but of course, it comes with fees. There’s no website or easily accessible menu online; I had to dig pretty deep just to find one. My boyfriend had purchased from here before, and since I liked the food then, I decided to stop by myself. I was greeted at the door, which was nice. The food is good, but honestly, it’s 2025 — what’s convenient for the business isn’t necessarily convenient for the customer. Left, maybe next time

So surprised by the quality of everything we ordered! The pho was excellent, the eggrolls were unique and delicious, and the bahn mi was great (with peppers so request to take them out if you don’t want the kick). Amazing service and the venue was so comfortable!

Today, everything was on point. The appetizer plate was made fresh. The chicken was juicy and seasoned great. (Last time is was not great. Dry and felt reheated) The fried objects were hot and crispy. The spring roll was soft and chewy. Fresh!
The pho was amazing too. Soup was flavorful without being too salty. Veggies for the pho were also so fresh! Basil and sprouts looked so good!
4 stars for not always being as amazing as it was today. Today was fantastic. Really hit the spot with the rainy day.

Absolutely phenomenal! I had the #42 combo meat pho and a milk tea. The pho came with a variety of meat and garnishes. My favorite is the trite and tendon for their fantastic texture. The meatballs are savory and I wish they provided more. The broth has a complexity of flavor that rivals no other.
Please note that the restaurant is cash-only. I would love for them to allow for card payments in the future.
I highly recommend Viet Taste and will be back again in the near future.

To start off, the food here was a bit cheaper compared to the Libertyville location.
I had dinner here twice and the food came really fast! The noodles salad and spring rolls were delicious. Servers were nice as well. Not to mention the interior design was elegant and had high ceilings.
Will definitely be coming back again!

Viet Taste has the best Pho soups in the entire NW Chicago suburbs. We moved here from DC, where we have tried some really delicious Pho soups in several authentic places. When moved to Chicago area we were on the mission to find a new favorite spot with great Pho soup. We tried so many places but couldn’t settle on one. We heard from friends here that Viet Taste was opening right in our neighborhood. We anticipated the opening date for few months. Now that it’s opened we are the regulars there and often are greeted by the owner (extremely nice person who really cares about the customers). My husband loves tendon soup and I prefer the brisket (my go to are #40 or #44) I also highly recommend my other favorite #25 Bún Combo Shrimp and lemongrass pork and egg roll (So delicious!)
We highly recommend their smoothies as well. Our favorites are Piña Colada and Kiwi. We haven’t tried all of them though, but I bet they are all delicious.
