Always worthwhile checking out the daily specials too!
P/s: There are some other incredible dishes won’t be on the menu, you need to ask, example the crispy chicken feet
The wings are super delicious but wait for 30mins for the food to come. The lamb is spicy while the menu hasn’t mention that.
The restaurant is very big, and I really liked the decor here with there being many plants. One of the unusual experiences that we loved were the videos of Vietnamese dishes being cooked, that really added to the authenticity of experiencing not just the food, but also more of their culture. This was inspiring, making me want to investigate cooking the cuisine and visit Vietnam.
The people working in the restaurant are extremely friendly and we had great conversation with them about the love for good food, therefore as expected the service was great with extra smiles and laughter had.
For food we decided to start with a Golden Pancake, then having the Special Grilled Beef Pho and the Bun Cha Ha Noi. The pancake was nicely golden and crispy, with the fillings being fresh and crunchy with juicy pieces of chicken. When dipped into the sauce, the flavours and textures were so good.
The Bun Cha Ha Noi was very nice, and the pork and broth were extremely tasty. The Pho was lovely, fresh, and comforting as I expected. The grilled beef had great flavour and texture, as it remained in the broth of the Pho, then adding in the bean sprouts, herbs, and chillis is when the yum started (though I added extra chilli for additional warmth and flavour).
Overall we had a nice time at Viet Ngon, and would recommend this restaurant to many!
There are various vegan options on the menu, from starters to stir-fried mains and Phos. We had 2 starters and 2 mains with Jasmin rice, and everything tasted absolutely amazing.
I saw many other tables having Pho, regardless the warm weather – probably this place is famous for their Pho? I will definitely have Pho next time to check out myself.
It got filled up at around 8pm on a Friday.
recommend to vegans who crave for some delicious Vietnamese!
