After trying many Vietnamese restaurants in the area, all of them very good, Viet Long has become our clear favourite. Their Combination Phở is truly exceptional. The first thing you notice is the broth: crystal clear, beautifully balanced, and bursting with flavour without ever feeling salty, oily, or overpowering. Every spoonful tastes fresh and clean, the kind of broth that tells you it has been cared for, watched over, and perfected.

The ingredients match that quality. The raw beef, beef balls, tendon, and tripe are all fresh, tender, and full of flavour, and the noodles are cooked just right, soft but never mushy. It’s the kind of bowl where you don’t want to leave a single drop behind. I recently tried the braised duck noodle soup and was impressed all over again: another clear, fragrant broth with a perfectly balanced depth and none of the heavy aftertaste you often get with similar dishes elsewhere.

The service is fast, friendly, and efficient, and although the restaurant is often busy with quick turnover, it always feels welcoming. The menu is a little more limited than some larger Vietnamese venues, but honestly, what they do serve, they execute at an exceptionally high level. I keep telling myself to try more dishes, but that phở keeps calling me back!

If you’re in the area and love authentic Vietnamese flavours, Viet Long is a must-visit. Simple menu, outstanding execution, and the best broth around.

For valentines day we came past and had a GREAT bowl of one of my favourite pho dishes, bo bo vien. It was filled with meat balls and the soup base was so flavourful!

Noodles were cooked really well also!

Would definitely reccomend also for a great local viet noodle house

‘Your now this
Your not that
Your now that
Your not this
Too worried about me
The moment they miss
Its valentines day
No love in there kiss

What a shame they spent
Sitting out in the park
This soup would be great
Through a winters dark

So watch me enjoy
What a lovely old meal
This is even less simple
Than the old hamster wheel’

Thanks for a great valentines day meal

Great Vietnamese food. Massive portions & so cheap. Most main dishes are $17 or under & I didn’t get close to finishing mine. Heaps of choices, both in noodle types, soup or stir fried & toppings. My only complaint was they were out of duck the night I visited. It’s only small, so get there early if you want a seat without having to wait.
I had rice noodle soup with crispy chicken & my friend had mixed beef soup plus we shared spring rolls
Well worth a try if you like Vietnamese noodles

This is a very small Vietnamese restaurant which has been around for years. Our order included two standout dishes – the broken rice with grilled pork and the spicy pork & beef noodle soup. The broken rice dish was a true highlight, showcasing the culinary prowess of the chef. The spicy pork & beef noodle soup was a revelation in its own right. Arriving piping hot, the bowl was brimming with a fragrant and robust broth that promised a flavour-packed experience. The slices of pork and beef were melt-in-your-mouth tender, complemented by the satisfying chew of the noodles. The dishes not only impressed with their deliciousness but also transported us to the vibrant streets of Vietnam through their authentic flavours.

One of the best Vietnamese restaurant around Perth that I’ve been to. Although place is small, foods are very tasty. Duck porridge is one of my favourite. Services are average, depending on staff working at the time. Plenty of parking around as it’s within the shopping centre complex.

Service cane be much better. No greeting on entry. Other tables given complimentary tea however we were not served it. Not a big deal but it is the principle. Food was good. Will return but please do take note of people and not be blind to those customers sitting quietly. Come forward and ask what they need.

My fav is broken rice with a grilled pork chop, yummo! We get so many condiments with it too, a complete meal for such a good price Most patrons are Asian/Vietnamese, which is a sure sign that the food is tops

I’ve been meaning to try this café for months and finally visited tonight unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience.
We were told to sit outside due to the café being full, which was understandable, however there were empty tables inside that only needed cleaning. Ordering felt uncomfortable as there was no greeting or basic customer service.
Outside seating was extremely dirty we eventually found a table but it had bird poop on it literally outside has a bird poop which was unhygienic and unpleasant. After waiting around 20 minutes, our food arrived without any explanation and was placed on the table with no interaction. Dump and run.
One staff member repeatedly pushed in front of me to serve another table without saying excuse me, to the point where I had to ask her to stop. This happened more than 2 times and made the situation very uncomfortable. I would of leave that time and ask for my money refund so i could go somewhere else. Price of meal is fair but altogether is very bad
To make matters worse, I found a hair in my food, which completely put me off eating.
Overall, the cleanliness, customer service, and professionalism were well below expectations. Sadly, this experience means I won’t be returning. Never ever again. YUCK!

A casual Vietnamese restaurant specialising in noodle soups with hearty broths to warm you up inside. Serving are decently sized with a good amount of meat to go with noodles and self-added fresh herbs. Taste of the rich broth is amongst some of the better Vietnamese restaurants.

There’s indoor seating and a few tables out the front, and overall it’s a place to grab a quick and easy hearty meal.

My family and I went to this place for dinner. A small place but not too cramped.

I got the Vietnamese Broken Rice. Rice, grilled pork chop, egg, slice of meat loaf and shredded meat. Tasted good.

My wife got the Rice Noodles and Seafood. I got a taste of it and it tasted good.

Each of the mains 15 dollars.

Tasty Entrée Rice Paper Rolls with Prawns 7 dollars
