Traveling from North Carolina to South Carolina take me about 3.5 hour to visiting my friend, I was recommended to try this restaurant Viet Kitchen & Boba Tea by a friend and I absolutely love it. The service just as incredible as the food. The lady owner are so sweet, nice, kind and super friendly welcoming me with the warm smile. There are so many different options at this restaurant, I ordered to go Special Combo Steam Rice served with BBQ Pork, Chicken, Shrimp, Egg rolls and Spicy Beef Soup ( Bún Bò Huế) The food is unforgettable everything was extremely delicious full of flavor, their bún bò Huế the flavors are so authentic, excellent broth in the Bun Bo Hue were very fresh. Brisket and pork were tenders. I also order the Vietnamese coffee and the fresh mangoes passion fruit tea, I pleasantly surprised can’t believe it the drink absolutely delish. I wished I can give the reviews on here more than 5 stars for the quality of food and the stunning service I rate this restaurant for 10/10. I will be back next time when I come to South Carolina, highly recommended!

Viet Kitchen is the best kept secret in Myrtle Beach! The owner, Kim, is an incredible talent and serves up authentic Vietnamese cuisine in a warm and friendly atmosphere with the freshest ingredients. Every time we visit Myrtle Beach we go to Viet Kitchen and my wife gets her favorite Pho. The bahn MI is fantastic and you’ll love the bread she gets from a special local bakery. The crispy chicken with special fried rice is on the new menu and it’s a must try. WOW. If you like authentic Vietnamese you’re going to love Viet Kitchen.

Edit: The BEST restaurant in Myrtle Beach, I’ve gone so many times and every meal has been fantastic.

Easily the best Vietnamese food I’ve ever had. The drinks were delicious and the variety of foods were incredible. Don’t miss out on this place.

Had a great experience here. Atmosphere is very simple and straight forward. Place was clean and tidy. Service was fine. This is a mom and pop style place. If you’re expecting them to slap out the food, that’s not what happens. You’re gonna have to wait a little bit here and there. The folks running the place are quite nice. They get a little bit in the weeds, but they do check on you. I personally don’t have a problem with that. If you do, perhaps you’d be happier at PF Changs or some other chain.

Now, about the food. It is fantastic! I ordered the Shrimp Apollo, the Pork Banh Mi, Bún bò Huế, and a Vietnamese Coffee. Haven’t had the Apollo before but it was a really neat change from the standard Spring Rolls. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and they were very fresh. The Bún bò Huế was quite excellent. The broth was savory and bursting with flavor, and not too salty. A nice show of restraint. The meat was tender, no tough or rubbery bits and they give you plenty of fresh basil, cilantro, cabbage and bean sprouts. There’s a whole host of available sauces on the table, so you can doctor things up to personal taste if you like. The pork Banh Mi was fantastic. The bread was toasted crispy, the pork had wonderful savory flavor and there were plenty pickled veggies and cilantro. Excellent.

I snagged the Vietnamese coffee on the way out the door. They are doing this the traditional way with the drip, so gonna take a second. Well worth it. Coffee is good and strong and just sweet enough. Nice balance.

Overall, I’m glad I found this little place. I will most definitely be back.

Viet Kitchen & Boba Tea was such a breathe of fresh air! The lady who served me, who I assume was the owner, was so warm and welcoming and great with recommendations! I had ordered the Special Combo with Steamed Rice and it was the perfect portion, as well as being super tasty. I also ordered a strawberry banana smoothie with coconut jelly, which she had recommended, and that was also very delicious. I will 100% be coming back again!

This was an amazing place to go. Ive eaten vietnamese food all over the world and this really hit a homerun. It was the first time I had Bun Bo Hue and it didnt disappoint. Bun Bo Hue is beef pho sexy cousin and this place did really well. The beautiful lady that was my server was kind and courteous plus helped me charge my phone when it was dying. The vietnamese coffee is skrong and tasty. Its been hours since ive blinked so be aware its way stronger than redbull. Give this place a try its worth it. From a foodie that has been around this wonderful planet you wont find better. The owners are from Vietnam and my server is from Hue (South of Da Nang). Spring rolls and peanut sauce also on point.
Update 09/01/25: I tried the grilled pork, egg roll, with shrimp with noodles dish today and it was amazing. The pork was the star of the show on this dish. The special sauce ( nuoc cham) was delicious that adds tons of flavor. I cant recommend this place enough. This dish is a bit pricey but i think its worth it. I also think the portion size is adequate for what you pay for this dish. Stop reading and go eat here already.

Amazing Vietnamese restaurant. I loved the food but I loved the service even more. Our waitress was so nice and friendly that based on just that I will be going back. You can tell she’s excited to have people try the food and gave us recommendations and what she liked to do and for good reason. 10/10 will be going back.

There is no doubt that they are cooking authentic viet food. The problem is they are so understaffed or the kitchen is too small that they cannot pump out the foods fast enough when the crowd hits the restaurant. We were a party of four and each food came out in different time that by the time our final (fourth) dish was served, the first dish was almost finished. The entire staff was so focused on pumping out the food that the dining hall was left out with empty water glasses etc.

The lady serving was very lovely and kind. Her effort was five stars but my impression is that the staffing at the time we were dining in was stretched out so thin that the whole experience was not entirely positive; although the food was tasty and quality.

She overcharged me for shrimp fried rice when it clearly states $13.99 but I was charged $19.99. The rice had too much pepper in it and their garlic oil was not even in the container just a bunch of peppers in it. I guess it hadn’t been refilled in a while. The only thing that was good were the egg rolls. I will never eat here again. I’m pissed about being overcharged $6 for some rice that didn’t even taste good.
