Wow! Started with the rocket shrimp amazingly crisp and not at all greasy. Had the short ribs they were amazingly charred without being over cooked or burnt. Definitely will go back to try more of their menu!

First off I have to say, my wife and I drove from the springs because we heard about this place! It was DEFINITELY worth the drive! The food is amazing and the presentation of the food is all 5 star! Great friendly service. Fantastic food that brings me back home. I definitely recommend this restaurant! Best Vietnamese food in Colorado!

The plus’ (4 stars)
-clean
-grilled shrimp is tasty

The negs
… I totally believe the 5 star reviews are planted..
Tried again… same.flavorless noodles. Packaged sauce. Go to busaba. And no one drove from the springs.to eat here!!.
– too clean… way too chemically smell!!! People won’t like that toxic smell
-lemon chicken was good… but a little formulaic and desperate for something besides a ball of white rice for $14
– no lunch specials..come on!
-NO veggies in the meat dishes..I liked the chicken…but why can’t I have vegetables with it?

Been wanting to try this place out since I saw they took the old Walnut Cafe location and I like VN food, having spent time in SE Asia and VN myself.

The good: staff was pleasant, honest, friendly. Atmosphere (sans the mood music, elevator-ized pop-40 instead of VN, Thai, Chinese, etc.) is upscale, relaxing, gives the presence of a 4-star restaurant. Fried rice was good, not great, but certainly not bad. Was NOT greasy/oily in the least (a feat when making friend rice), good flavor, came hot and fresh. Shrimp were lackluster, but that’s to be expected here in Colorado and esp. on this side of the world where the gulf is it for shrimp.

The “not bad,” but could be improved: Ordered tea, came as tea dust in a tea bag and a coffee cup of hot water cup (speaks more of a “Panda Express” than the upscale place this appears to project), please use loose-leaf tea in a pot, like every other lower tiered Asian restaurant does. Prices are up there, esp. for not-spectacular food (but again, the one thing I had, shrimp friend rice, was very good, better than most, just not “spectacular” as the price would lead one to assume). Maybe do a lunch “special” menu with smaller portions so people don’t have to order one (expensive) entree for a lunch meal. Price of Pho is higher than most, not sure I feel like paying $14-16 for a bowl of soup, but I’ll try it and report back.

All in all, would probably a pleasant place for a romantic dinner and if the one thing I had is any indication, whatever you ordered would likely be quite acceptable.

Truly excellent pho. The broth is wonderfully flavorful and the brisket was tender and tasty. Plus the serving size was great. The vermicelli bowl my wife had was very good too.

Gave this new place a try for lunch and I am impressed! We had the meatball pho and the Bun Bo Hue. Both were very flavorful and delicious! Happy to have them so close and we’ll definitely be back!

The egg noodles themselves are pretty good, comforting, and a good size but lacked flavor. Also had the egg rolls and they were just ok, a little small and dry for the price. Overall this place isn’t bad but a little overpriced.

Yay! New Vietnamese place in the neighborhood! This place is squeaky clean, newly updated, and serving the best Vietnamese food I’ve ever had! And I’ve had a lot of pho in my life! The broth was perfect from the first bite to the last! A perfect achievement of Umami! The vegetables were perfectly cooked, not to soft, not too crunchy. The fried tofu was also delicious. You won’t need any condiments to fix up this bowl of pho goodness but the chili oil I requested was the freshest, most flavorful oil I’ve ever had. The service was A+. Let’s get this place some visitors! They have only been open for 3 weeks! Can’t wait to try the other dishes!

Lafayette’s newest pho joint did not disappoint! The decor and ambiance were tastefully done and the staff and service were excellent! Combination pho was on point and the bobas were also very delicious – not too sweet. We are so excited for this family-friendly restaurant at this location and can’t wait to come back to try other items on the menu!
