Hard to find because the sign outside says LAGOGO, but they do have Pho on that sign, so you know it’s the right place. Very good pho! I work in Midlo so I’ve tried a lot of great pho around there and Richmond. It’s almost as good as Pho Thien Phat but not quite there. But without the hour drive to get there it’s definitely a close second. It is kind of pricey. I ordered the pho with all the meats and an order of the vietmanese meatballs and it was $28 plus tax. The service is very quick. I was served within 5 minutes of ordering. I would definitely go again.

First visit, but not the last ! Had a tofu pho and shrimp pho – shrimp were huge! – delicious with the fresh toppings. Also had spring rolls that were equally fresh and crisp and served with a subtle peanut sauce. Got 2 banh mi sandwiches to go but from the looks, expect the tastiness to continue

The sign outside is still “LAGOGO” for some reason. Getting here was kind of confusing bc of it, but this place is definitely not that anymore, and they do not have hamburger and pasta as the incorrect signage might lead you to believe (which is a positive thing in my opinion).

Anyway, the food is pretty good…

The good: Good flavor, lots of condiments, lots of Vietnamese drink options

The bad: Kind of pricey for what you get, fresh spring rolls needed more ingredients, the herbs for the pho were a little wilted

Some of the beat pho ever. very authentic menu at a great price. dine in or take out. staff here is very nice and helpful.
the entrance is on Crater Road, do not follow the google map directions. google maps will have you in someones living room in the neighborhood behind the place.

Her personality is the location! I would assume her name is grace because it’s the way she handles her restaurant and how her food taste. Her food is comfy. Don’t let the traffic fool you, “Ma” has the customers. It’s quiet and clean.
My sister told me about the place and I never stopped coming. (It’s the old “mad Italian spot”) so glad this location changed.

I recommend her chicken pho!
It’s awesome and I’m grateful for her service.

9 minutes from Ft Lee Virginia (14 minute from MacLaughlin gym). Very kind and happy family owned and operated busines. The female taking our order also made our food, I believe she was one of the owners. Service was great, Pho was tasty, and it was not buisy. We arrived at 1745, there was a family of 4, and later a table of six. The owner seemed to manage everthing very well with one other staff member. It a must try, especially if you are just calling in an order of pho to go.

The Pho Dac Biet was serviceable in terms of filling my pho craving, but it fell short of what I look for in a pho.

The quantity was good and what I usually get in other pho places. The carry out packaging was well done and even included a disposable pho spoon.

The broth was a flavorful beef stock, but was devoid of the usual pho spices that I crave. I went home and boiled up the broth with some star anise for it to get closer to what I prefer.

Also, the meats were already cooked – where I prefer them raw so the broth can cook them. As a result, the meats were chewy and somewhat fell apart. And there was only one small piece of tendon.

Overall okay, but for $22 (including tax) it was not the quality I would have expected.

Best spot I’ve tried so far during my visit to Petersburg Virginia! I had the chicken pho and it was super comforting and delicious, exactly what I needed. For anyone planning to come here be aware that signage outside says ”lagogo” they did not update it yet to viet huang.

Judy is amazing! She is the spotlight and heart of the restaurant! The Pho is fresh and authentic. Meat is high quality. The spring rolls and peanut sauce are REQUIREMENT. Definitely check this out if you like good food! FYI Pho is perfect when you’re sick.

If you are a pho lover, stop what you are doing and go to Viet Huong. The pho is delicious! I am a true pho lover and have tried pho all over. There was not a single drop of broth left in my bowl. Without shame I turned my bowl up to my mouth to savor the last bit of deliciousness. The jasmine sweet tea was incredibly refreshing. I am beyond excited to have an authentic Vietnamese restaurant in Petersburg. The customer service is wonderful. Judy is the sweetest and greets with a warm welcoming smile.
