We tried this place while visiting the area. The beef spring rolls were very tasty with the sauce although the sauce is a little sweet. I had the beef noodle soup with brisket and thin beef and it was very good and filling. My friend had the shrimp and pork blood soup and it had a strange smell and taste. Also the AC was very cold in December I’m not sure why it has to be so cold.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for years, and it never disappoints. The food is always fresh and delicious, and the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. They really pay attention to the little details—whether it’s making sure we never run out of sauce or lettuce, or having everything perfectly prepared for takeout orders. I ordered a 30-piece spring roll party tray today, and it was beautifully put together and ready right on time. I’m so grateful to have a restaurant like this in our neighborhood—it’s truly a gem!

Amazing spot. The soup is ever so slightly more aromatic and herbal from the spices they use in the broth (this is a good thing in my books!)

The staff are friendly, had to dock one point off atmosphere, the table could have used a better wipe down. But honestly, everything else was splendid.

Great service and great food, highly recommended location!!! Their special pho is pretty sizable…be warned, well worth it though for the price!

Great place to eat , and the portions are really well served. The environment is chill, and they are quick to serve you.
Came here for a quick bite. I got the jasmine tea and Thai tea and ended up staying longer than I thought. I thought we could get the bigger plates and ordered a couple of items on that menu and ended up with plenty of take-home food, so that was a major plus. It’s a little restaurant but with major flavor and a clean restroom, also a major plus to me.
Definitely a must try for you and your family, or a date , and you can also enjoy this place solo. Most plates sit around 15, but you really get the most out of it. Fresh greens, nice teas , great flavor , plenty of food , fresh and hot plates. When I asked for extra limon , or to go boxes and a soup container, they were more than happy and quick to hand me another piece.
Great place to stop in El Monte.

This has been a long standing pillar in the El Monte community. When you want to feel the love and warmth of locals and this business you will fall in love. I’ve been a patron for many a years and my go to is their (mi bo kho) beef stew egg noodles. Its savory, meaty and delicate broth gives your soul the nourishment it yearns for. Decor is as clean as it can be for decades of service but their cuisine is superb. Truly adore the service and exceptional pricing.

I haven’t been to many Vietnamese restaurants, but this is definitely the best one so far. It is understaffed, but that is understandable due to covid. The owner is a nice guy who takes great pride in his work. The food is delicious! I enjoyed the spring rolls very much. The Vietnamese coffee was as strong as it should be and with good flavor. I will definitely be visiting this place again if I am ever in the area. Cảm ơn!

I tried the shrimp and crab glass noodle bowl and it was very good. Server was nice and quick. The minus star was for the old table and chairs. Chair leather was ribbed and looked ghetto.

I was very surprised by the high reviews of this place. I’ve had a lot of amazing pho/Vietnamese food from Toronto, and this was nothing comparable. Chicken pho barely had any prices of chicken and the broth was extremely bland. The beef pho also didn’t have much depth in flavour. We tried to order two different types of drinks and they didn’t have any options available, despite the store not being busy (Friday dinner 6pm). The servers were very friendly though.

Bruuhh this is the OG place for pho.
The broth is so rich in flavor, meat broth mmm. It seems like there’s very little MSG in the soup, but it’s still amazing. The service is awesome, so kind. Overall AMAZING pho! 24 hours of cooking, they use the bones when they make the broth!! No wonder it’s so good!!
