Viet Guy is a family run Vietnamese restaurant adding it’s unique oriental twist to Leeds city centre and Manchester. Our restaurant is currently administered by a new experienced manager who is also the head chef. He has wide experiences working in well-known restaurants in Vietnam, Hong Kong and London and is an expert on Vietnamese food who can bring you truly authentic Vietnamese taste. The restaurants under his management won a number of awards including “Food Award North Winner Restaurant of the Year” and “Over Winner Restaurant of the Year”. With his expertise and enthusiasm, he wishes to develop the best Vietnamese restaurant in Leeds and Manchester which provides good service and great food to satisfy all of customers.

The food was fantastic, we got the duck and pancakes as well as the steak pho. Both were delicious and quite reasonably priced. The waitress was very nice and there wasn’t any wait for a table.
The only downsides were that they didn’t accept Amex, which is more of a personal preference and there seemed to be quite a few flies, but that might have just been because the door was opening and closing a lot.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Viet Guy, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious—packed with authentic flavors, fresh ingredients, and beautifully presented. Every dish we tried was a burst of flavor, and you could really tell the care and attention that went into preparing each one.
The service was equally impressive. The staff were warm, friendly, and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. They really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of.

Accessible with free street parking nearby. Lots of choice on menu. Clean, well laid out restaurant. Staff really friendly, helpful and polite, they helped me choose what to order and advised on different options. Fresh, hot, tasty food made to order, really good value for money. We’ll definitely be back.

I went here spontaneously and I don’t regret it at all. We came in pretty late, about 9pm and they still served us. I could tell they were going to close soon but we were not made feel rushed. Service was good and the staff were nice and accommodating.
The food was incredible and delicious and there was pickled garlic on the table (Recommend) I had the chicken spring rolls with noodles and we also had an appetiser, summer spring rolls. I really recommend them because they are fresh and crunchy, great for hot weather or just in general.
I will definitely come back here soon, and again and again!

Outstanding place to visit! The staff is incredibly polite and really go out of their way to help and are receptive to chat about the food.
Me and a friend really stuffed our faces for £25 with dessert (altough drinks for us were inexpensive because we had Jasmine green tea – highly recommend btw)
The food is genuine, and tastes amazing and wholesome. Nothing seemed fake or adjusted to Western tastes, this restaurant is the real deal. Better than this only if you go to Vietnam
Bear in mind that they only take card payment from 4pm, anything before that is cash only.
The atmosphere and vibe could do with a little sprucing up to make it more immersive and less cantine vibes, but it honestly doesn’t take anything away from the incredible food and staff.
Bonus points: no bloating at all, because healthy.
Go here, don’t even think about it twice.
