Delicious authentic food! I’m from the South of Vietnam, and her food really reminds me of my hometown. I understand there are a lot of mixed reviews. I was hesitant to try at first too but I wanted to have the experience for myself, good or bad. 100% loving it! I will be back to try her other food we had cháo lòng, bún đậu mắm tôm there and got free tofu desert due to their current promotion. Bought bánh canh cá lóc and súp óc cua home for my husband and nephews. All food was tasty! They finished them with a very short time

We arrived around 11 am. Not too busy. We all ordered their soups, everyone had water except for me and my sister. There are five of us. We ordered two vietnamese ice coffee. First came four soups, we waited thinking maybe they couldn’t carry all five. Waiter stopped at four, we asked when will they bring out the fifth soup. They said the crab soup takes a little bit longer, meanwhile as the rest of us started to eat I noticed I haven’t recieved my ice coffee. We flagged the waitress down and reminded her of our coffee. At this point the four of us are almost half way done with our soup and we asked the cook again where is our fifth order? They finally bring it out but by then my sister has lost her appetite! My daughter and I didn’t have a problem with our soup, it was delicious! But the other three had complaints.

Since they advertised on Facebook, I decided to give it a try and come here to try the bun bo hue and hu tieu. Unfortunately, they no longer offer hu tieu kho. The hu tieu soup wasn’t good. The bun bo hue was not bad, but it wasn’t the best.

Update:

This restaurant has improved a lot since last year. They’ve changed almost everything, including the menu and the food, in a very good way. I love all the dishes I’ve tried. It’s so sad they will be closing after 1/1/2025. Until then, there are only a few days left to enjoy this great food.

I highly recommend:
• Phở tái lăn (stir-fried beef phở)
• Bún riêu (tomato crab noodle soup)
• Bún bò Huế (spicy Hue-style beef noodle soup)
• Bò né (sizzling beef)
• Bắp xào (stir-fried corn)
• Bánh canh cua (crab udon)

Note: All the dishes are served piping hot!

My mom’s favorite place for bánh canh cá lóc since she cannot find any restaurant on Bellaire that cooks the fish properly. This place is must try if you are a true Viet foodie and a seeker for authentic flavor. We have tried almost everything and every dish is a bomb despite their small menu.

This place has the best and most authentic Bún Bò Huế in Houston imo. The large bowl is huge with lots of different kinds of meat (tái, nạm, gân, giò heo, lá sách). I can’t even finish the bowl. My husband ordered a bò né and he even ordered a second bánh mì to dip in the sauce. The staff is super nice and they gave us free jelly for dessert. Definitely will come back to try other dishes

The staffs was great , the food was ok , i have BBH . I am not sure why but when they bring my BBH bowl out, there was a smell of Pho broth. I usually like to have lemongrass on my BBH but I couldn’t taste it ( without adding oil chili sauce) Overall, it was good experience .

One of the most authentic Vietnamese places in Houston. Loved their Bun Mam, Pho and Soup. It’s is hard to find authentic Vietnamese dishes these days. This place is a truely hidden gem of Houston. Hope they keep expanding their business!

Despite being a new restaurant for only…more than a year, this restaurant matches my food standard really well. The taste & flavor are 90% percent similar with foods in Sai Gon (Ho Chi Minh city, Viet Nam). I would recommend y’all to come and try a few cuisines here. This is actually our family’s favorite restaurant which we visit almost weekly
