I also like their spring rolls . Again always fresh ingredients. Its a fair drive for me but I find it worth it.
1 excellent food
2 very good service, polity , friendly.
3 very clean .
4. And I appreciate the fact that seniors get a discount.
5. They always offer a nice cup of tea while I wait for my take outt.
6. You wait about 10 minutes or less. But the food is fresh and hot.
7. They provide good containers to transport.
8. I like the fact that they keep the soup ingredients separately from the fresh broth. Make it nice to divide abd warm up if you need too.
Food was not my favorite. I got the large pho, and the portion was kind of small, compared to most other pho places. I’d say it was equivalent to a medium/small. Especially when you are charged $20, I’d expect a lot more food. They also provide very little garnishes compared to other places, no spicy pepper, and no lime wedges, basically one stem of thai basil and some bean sprouts.
The taste of the pho itself was not the best, the beef tasted “old”, like it just thawed and was placed into the bowl, the broth is not very rich and has an odd sweetness to it. Meat balls were very standard, exactly the same as every other place. Noodles were very solid.
Maybe it was an off day. If I am in the area again in the future, I’ll give this spot another shot.
I do not recommend this restaurant. In terms of value for money, it’s okay but the quality is below average.
Reply to owner: Thanks for replying to my review. Please check your call log to see the duration of the call made at 11:10:20AM. It was at 0.1 minute. After she picked up and said Hello, I said “Hi, I’m looking at your UberEats menu and I have some questions”. She replied “Busy” and then hung up. That was the entire conversation. Subsequent calls made right after were unanswered. I am not on a mission to get the lady in question into trouble. I am simply stating the experience I received. On a positive note, at least you now know she won’t be doing it again after my complaint.
The portion I received did not match the portion in the pictures on the Google reviews. So maybe your chef is giving less for delivery orders? Taste is subjective, I totally agree but I compare it with other Vietnamese restaurants I go to.
The food itself was really good, beef and shrimp had nice flavor and the spring rolls were crispy and fresh. Although thr food itself was nice it was on the pricey side running about 30 dollars in total for my meal. This is quite expensive compared to other vietmanese resturants I’ve been too. With that price being higher the portions did not live up to it being rather small.
Service was nice and food was solid but a little pricey. I would probably go for there again for the banh mi sandwhiches.
