The food here is fantastic. We went here for Valentine’s dinner but ended up sitting there having appetizers all day. They have an awesome fruit drink menu too! We will definitely return a lot more to try more dishes. The owner is super friendly and genuinely cares about customer satisfaction and willing to make custom dishes for us too. Oh and on top of it, the cleanliest restrooms in South Carolina. Believe me, I have unrealistically high standard when it comes to hygiene and the place more than earned my seal of approval. You won’t be disappointed.

Shockingly good. Reminds me of Pho restaurants in Georgia. Dare I say better? I ordered the filet mignon and it was so soft and the portion was huge. My wife said her Pho was the best in the state thus far. Friendly staff, excellent service. You know it’s good when they play slow Vietnamese music in the background

I ordered for my 1st time to-go on my lunch break. The service was fast and friendly. I thought that this was the most flavorful chicken pho that I have had and the brown sugar boba tea was the perfect pick-me-up that I needed today. Their menu says that they have several sizes for pho, but they informed me in the restaurant that they actually only have one size. I planned on saving some for later, but I honestly ate it all in one sitting because it was so delicious.

Vietnamese food is one of my favorites – and I do mean MY FAVORITES. Ever since I moved to Greenville back in 2010, I’ve been searching for a local restaurant that can bring back the magic of Vietnamese food in the Buford Highway area outside of Atlanta. There isn’t a single Vietnamese restaurant in the upstate that I haven’t tried, almost all of them more than once. I was convinced that it wasn’t meant to be and had all but given up until I discovered this little gem in Five Forks. I’ve yet to find anything even remotely close to as good in the Upstate, and after trying Viet Cuisine, my search is over. You won’t find better Vietnamese cuisine in the upstate than at…Viet(namese) Cuisine.

Highlights:
– Best Vietnamese food in Greenville/Spartanburg: CHECK; I personally recommend the grilled pork broken rice plate (#48 on the menu, which is pictured in my review), the house special pho (#1 on the menu), and the vermicelli with grilled pork (#52 on the menu)
– Reasonable prices: CHECK
– Ignore the bad reviews, they are almost all related to new business startup problems – which they shouldn’t be faulted for.
– The food here is so good that the wife and I have eaten here (actually it’s been mostly takeout) six times in the 2 months it’s been open – that’s how good it is.

I’ve been trying to post a review for Viet Cuisine for the last 6-8 weeks, but Google’s review system for this restaurant was temporarily locked due to “suspicious reviews.” I am a REAL PERSON that has had REAL(LY GOOD) EXPERIENCES with this place. I don’t know the owners, I’m not being compensated in any way for this review, and the only reason(s) I’m leaving one is because I’m in love with the food here and feel like the lower star ratings some people have given it are unfair and do not accurately represent the quality of the food I’ve experienced here all six times (and likely another one coming this weekend). Five stars and I’d give this place more if I could.

The spicy pho noodle wasn’t spicy, they need to have jalapeño on the side which they didnt only beans sprout and herbs…the noodle was a bit too round and slippery and wasn’t what I thought its had in mind maybe need better services of understanding what to get…maybe i gotten the wrong one. The drinks wasn’t enough they put way too much ices…. within 3 or 4 sips i was done… needed more adjustments. I will probably come back and try again with the updates

Updated:
Now the services has gotten better, got the right plate and food this time, the right pho and they actually bring in the condiments with jalapeño and beans sprout. wasn’t as chaotic when grand opening. I actually enjoyed it now… bit more peaceful and calm.

We love Pho and were excited to have a new Vietnamese restaurant open near our house. The pho/broth was tasty and the beef was tender. My wife enjoyed her (gluten free) chicken pho but she said it was a little tough. We will definitely be back!

I had a great experience at this Pho restaurant. The pho was incredibly delicious, and the sandwich was also very tasty. The atmosphere was warm and pleasant, which made the visit even better. I would definitely come back again!

I’m always looking for a better pho place in the area, and I found one today. I ordered Special Pho XLarge.

Friendliness: The owner lady greeted me as I walked in, and I felt cared for the whole time.

Authenticity: As soon as I walked in, most customers were speaking Vietnamese. I knew this is the place to be.

Broth: Definitely had depth to it. It’s the authentic taste I remember from my time in Southeast Asia; to be more precise, it had similar taste to pho I had in Vientiane, Laos area. Loved it! (Not a negative thing, but if you prefer clean broth [and you connoisseurs out there know what I’m talking about if you love soup as much as I do], you’ll enjoy it less than I do.)

Size: First of all, they do offer various sizes, so that’s a plus. Second, XLarge actually means XLarge to them. When I order XLarge, I want a bowl of pho that makes me wonder if I can finish it. And it surely did. Third, noodles-to-meat ratio was perfect for me—basically one piece of meat per spoonful of noodles.

Atmosphere: Personally, not a fan of neon light decorations. But that didn’t hinder me from enjoying my pho.

We went to the soft opening on September 6 and left after two hours of waiting and no food received. We went back on September 13 and they did a great job getting us to a table and being served in a timely manner. We got spring rolls (enjoyed the dipping sauce that came with them), my husband had an extra large pho with steak and brisket. I got the grilled shrimp broken rice plate. We both enjoyed the food and were pleased with the service. We will definitely go back again.

I tried this dish today and honestly it was so good. The seasoning was just right, the ingredients tasted fresh, and it felt really comforting. Nothing fancy, but every bite made me happy. Definitely worth trying if you get the chance.
