Food was fine but don’t order delivery as it doesn’t seem to be a priority. Drunken noodles were fine but not exceptional. Heat ratings were accurate which we very much appreciated. Sesame beef teriyaki was very good as was the lo main. Order was delivered 30 minutes late because the restaurant didn’t get it to the driver who waited to pick it up.

Delicious. Small dining area is quite pleasant. Lots of pho, curry, and noodle dish options. The spring rolls are a big draw here; I found out why locals love them. Brisk takeout business, too.

The aroma wafting through this place was one of loneliness. The service was top notch, the food was so so. The lunch special pho was lacking meat and made up of mostly noodles. The ladle/spoon for the pho that was already in the soup when it arrived was extremely dirty and almost made me lose my appetite. The only saving grace was the broth. The pork summer rolls I ordered as an appetizer came undone at the slightest touch, making them difficult to eat/dip in the sauce. The Vietnamese coffee and the shrimp summer rolls were both average. Bill came out to $32. Rating: 2.5 out of 5

I realize that Vienna is a high rent district and this appears to be a family-owned restaurant, so this breaks my heart to post a bad review again. Unfortunately, on the Google menu for this restaurant, my meal should have been $16.95 but I was charged $21. The woman ringing me acted a little offended when I was surprised about the discrepancy in price. I would say for this portion of grilled beef vermicelli, it definitely was on the expensive side. The flavor was just not good. The beef was fatty. The knife skills were terrible, with the beef still kind of connected and sinew-y and the lettuce cut in raggedy, still connected pieces. The vermicelli was overcooked and mushy. Overall thankful for a meal, but won’t give this a third try.

Geat tasting food. Nice cozy ambiamce. Food was very fresh and tasted just right. Easily a 5 star but the lunchbox portion was a bit small and they have to work on the pricing. Although the prices on their menu was slightly higher (were charged less) they need to have uniform pricing. It is such a good food and needs to be tasted by more patrons or first time foodies. A must try if you are in the area….

Our family loves this restaurant. Food is fantastic. Braised beef broth is to die for, but really all the food we have had has been delicious…vermicelli, P11 soup, crab rangoon. Lani is about the nicest lady ever, and always makes us feel welcome and comfortable.

Viet Aroma is our favorite restaurant in Northern Virginia and we dine there often. The food is outstanding, very creative, and very diverse and plentiful. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, the atmosphere is pleasant with low volume music in the background.

I come here for clay pot chicken and summer rolls. Consistently fresh ingredients handled well by kitchen staff. Clay pot always arrives at table piping hot and dish is flavorful. Broth is delicious. Summer rolls are always fresh and tasty. Reasonably priced fare and service is decent.
Update 04.25.2020
Downgrading from 4 stars to 1 star. I stopped dining here several months before pandemic. After a couple visits noticing massive quality degradation of clay pot chicken, interviewing the younger of the 2 servers working there, I was told new cook (cannot use the word chef here) in the kitchen. New cook cutting chicken pieces too thick for the dish causing inadequate marinade process. Cut needs to be thin and pieces tenderized (“tenderize” -sophisticated way of saying hitting with a mallet). Thick cut does not allow marinade to permeate meat yielding blah taste. Also, recipe ingredients were left out including but not limited to peppers. Both of the servers not taking my easily verifiable analysis/criticism well on several subsequent visits hoping for improvement the 2 servers treated me with indifference and not so subtle body language message that I am not welcome there. Which is okay with me. I am happy to drop them from my circuit. I am a regular on the other side of the street at terrific pan asian restaurant Sweet Ginger.
