I had a wonderful lunch experience today with exceptional service! I had the 3 wurst sampler with two sides, a pretzel appetizer and two German beers. My bestie had the cold cuts and egg salad plate with rye bread. The food was delicious!! Check out the pictures.

If you haven’t tried this place yet, WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH YOUR LIFE?! 🙂 The pretzel was so so good. It’s a huge pretzel. The cheese sauce was really good and exactly what you’d expect with a pretzel. The mustard they make in house was the perfect pairing with the pretzel and the cream cheese based spread called liptauer. Dip your pretzel in both together! Fantastic combination! The liptauer was my favorite by far. I even asked for a little cup of it to go. I got the schnitzel cordon Bleu with mashed potatoes and red cabbage. I didn’t love the cabbage but it was still really good.. It’s like kinda plain and almost sweet but not sweet. Not my favorite. I think my mind was already thinking about sauerkraut so the muted flavors of the red cabbage wasn’t what my mouth was anticipating. Mashed potatoes went well with the cordon Bleu. Husband got the 3 wurst plate. He got bratwurst, weisswurst and frankfurter. It came with a piece of bread but we had a ton of bread already (the pretzel) so he didn’t eat it. He got the sauerkraut and spaetzle. They were both really really good. I was so jealous of his sides. I will absolutely order the sauerkraut and spaetzle next time we go! The frankfurter was exactly as you’d expect a hot dog to taste I guess lol. The bratwurst was pretty good and the weisswurst was really good. It had a softer texture than I expected. All very good wursts in their own regard!! The man next to us was saying his burger was the best burger in LaFayette by far. We didn’t try the desserts because we were stuffed. We plan to go back on a Friday or Saturday to try their weekend special. It’s pork roast with bread dumplings. It sounds like it would be fantastic. We also plan to go back to try the burger the man was raving about! The owners came out and talked to us a bit. They are the nicest most friendly and humble people you will ever meet. Our waitress was so nice and helpful. We told her it was our first time and she gave us great suggestions and helpful information about the dishes and sauces. If you’ve been to this location before (as a few different restaurants have been there over the years) you may be worried about seating. There was very little seating before. They have expanded and added seating inside and they are also adding seating outside as an enclosed patio out back! Parking is fantastic as well. I was always worried about parking because of how awkward it was before. Not any more! They have plenty of parking right across the street too! I really hope they stay in LaFayette for years to come. I can’t wait to go back and try more of their delicious food!

My wife and I went there for dinner. Food was excellent (sourkrout and pork sausage) and was ready really quick. Service was 1st class and beer selection was great. Overall would definitely recommend and we will be going back

Really great experience! Parking is a bit tricky beside restaurant, but there is an extra lot across the street. Food was fresh and hot. My son said the waffle fries are the best he has tried and I agree. The pretzel and dips are also really good. Our server was very attentive and personable. We’ll certainly be visiting again.

Amazing place !!! This is me and my wife’s favorite after work spot … the food is super fresh and made to order… the pretzels are the greatest I’ve ever had and the service is amazing… this is the best Austrian/German food you can get in the area including Chattanooga… do yourself and your family a huge favor and try them out !!!!

Great addition to Lafayette Ga. Great food. The sausage’s are imported & other items made in house. Server was great. Clean, simple & great food = A WINNER. Worth the drive & NOT EXPENSIVE. Support local business because they are the people who buy the program ads for schools, churches & other events. Are the big box stores going to make up the difference is they do not have competition. Give this more thought.

This restaurant has a truly authentic Austrian beer garden atmosphere. Seating is about half indoor and half outdoor. They have a nice selection of authentic Bavarian beers plus several American standards. Food menu is also truly authentic Bavarian-Austrian fare, I’ve been there several times and every option I’ve tried has been excellent. My heritage is pure German-bavarian, so I can tell you with good authority this place is great for Bavarian food and drink. Try it, I promise you will not be disappointed. Cheers

A pleasant surprise in the town of Lafayette Georgia. Sadly, we only had time for an appetizer, but facilities are very neat and clean. Servers friendly, and menu items unique and extremely appealing. Prices reasonable for the high quality selections.

Delicious authentic German food! Everything was just like my German mother in law made it. Had the schnitzel, spaetzle and red cabbage, really great! The pretzel app was crisp on the outside and very light on the inside, not heavy and great beer cheese to dip it in. Desert was yummy too, the fried apple slices. Service was prompt, efficient and friendly. Also the restaraunt was very clean. Definitely going back!
