This morning we purchased 2 pieces of roulette from here,
After taking first piece, vomiting started and then Diarrhea after that,
When i look closer and taste it my self I realized that its mold!!
I took the other piece to the backary explaining them that its mold,
First they insist that its pistashio not Mold!!!
But after I asked them couple of times to take the tray out of refrigerator and bot to sell it to other people,
They listened, one minute later the lady who was wiping every were came and reorganized the roulette with same dirty gloves and put the tray back in refrigerator.
BC she didn’t know what’s going on!!
Immediately another customer asked for Pistashio roulette and she sold it to them!
I explained to the customer what happened this morning and they returned it.
So please dont BUY this.
Its MOLD , very dirty place unfortunately.
Please be careful about what you are taking.
I believe people who works in this place need to be trained about how to be clean and not to effect other people health every minute.

Overall: 4.50: Delicious, freshly prepared French pastries, cookies, sandwiches, coffee, etc. a very large selection of croissants , baguettes, cookies, pastries, macarons, napoleons, savory sandwiches, soups, etc. Some staff fluently speak French. Lots of parking and other shops. Great place for breakfast, brunch or lunch.

I ordered a cheesesteak sandwich and the lady either gave me roast beef or the steak is undercooked. It was made too fast to be true.

I drove all the way from DC to Potomac to buy my wife a Tuscano sandwich from this location around 3:30pm. When I got up to the counter, there was a premade sandwich on display. I asked the counter attendant if the sandwich was fresh, being afraid it was sitting there all day. She said, “Everything is always fresh.” When I got home, the bread was stale and the lettuce was completely soggy. What a waste of money, time, and gasoline. I called the store to complain. The woman who answered the phone explained the manager will be in tomorrow. I will cancel the transaction with the credit card company and NEVER accept a premade sandwich from this location again.

Fantastic selection of French pastries and desserts. Prices can be a little spendy, but whatever you buy it will have fantastic flavor.

Excellent. I rate based on what businesses profess to be and this is a chain bakery. It is very consistent with varied food options and I don’t get tired of it. As a matter of fact it’s top 2 in my book for standard chain fare. The coffee is #1. The croissant blossom with strawberry, chocolate and cream cheese was very good and I had my standard almond croissant. It is very sanitary and helpful customer service. I will return.

This was a fun find when we were in the area visiting Great Falls Park and the C&O canal. We stopped in Potomac for lunch and we thrilled to find this spot for dessert. There were so many tasty looking options and plenty of treats we hadn’t tried before. I tried a Napoleon and my husband got their Pear and Riccotta Tart. There were sandwiches and plenty of good looking coffees and drinks we will try the next time we visit.

Eating at Vie de France is a bit like dining in Paris – the outside dining cafe where you can people watch while enjoying your food and refreshments. The only thing missing is the Seine River. Unfortunately the Seine is replaced with a parade of a variety of cars and the outside patio furniture is unstable. Even a touch of arrogance is in the air.

The tomato basil soup was flavorful and delicious and came with a baguette. The baguette was unbelievable, light and crunchy on the outside and airy on the inside. My Tuscano sandwich excited all my taste buds. If you are lucky enough, you will get a side of their incredible mustard. Boy, I was in heaven. The Ham and Brie Sandwich on a croissant hit the spot.

This was our first time at this location and we felt we needed a road map to understand the layout. It was a little confusing. Sayonara for now.

Satisfy every flavor desire you could have. This culinary destination presents itself in the fashion of a traditional French boulangerie: clean and understated, allowing the food to take center stage in your sensory experience. Sate your hunger here.
