We have had great service, great food and feel it is an awesome value each time we have gone. This time we sat in the “bar” which is very misleading. They have many 4 person tables spread throughout the second floor of the restaurant, which also happens to be the location of the bar, with around seating for 20 there as well. Do not be alarmed if the hostess offers you the bar area for dining, you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommended if you are looking for some authentic Mexican food in the Lakes region. Enjoy!!!

I ate at about 4:45pm on a Tuesday afternoon. I ordered a house (rocks and salt) margarita and a combo plate with a cheese enchilada, a beef taco, a chicken quesadilla, and a side salad. The margarita was OK, no rocks little salt. The dinner was mostly inedible. Salad was the best part. The rest was too salty to eat. Service was good but when I informed the server about the quality of the meal he chickened out, charged me full price and ended up with a lower tip. I’m sure he never informed either management or the chef. There’s much better food in this great little town.

Very nice restaurant, clean with nice decor. There was no one downstairs when we arrived, but a sign directed us upstairs. It was a bar area with several tables. We were first to arrive and we’re seated immediately by a very polite and friendly man. He took our order and returned in short order with our food; lunch menu chimichanga and chicken fajitas. Everything was plated beautifully. But no sizzle plate for the fajitas. Generous portions and the food was tasty, but somehow just average. It just didn’t have the depth of flavor typical for these dishes.

The food was good. But very expensive. I spent 268.00 for 9 of us.3 of us ordered a drink that was supposed to be in a pineapple . They only had 1 pineapple so the other 2 were put in a regular glass. You could hardly taste the achohl. Pine apple slices were bitter. They don’t even put drink prices on the menu for this. My husband got half of his food.he finally got the rest of it when everyone was about done.we shared two desserts. It was supposed to be fried cheese cake and a chocolate lava cake we got a slice of regular cheese cake both desserts tasted freezer burnt .then we got the bill 4.99 for a grilled pepper strips and our drinks well they were 18.99 a piece.even though they weren’t in a fresh pineapple. They wouldn’t fix anything. Wont go there again

The food was decent, different than what I am used to being originally from the West Coast. The staff were extremely disorganized, and quite frankly, it seemed like they were very understaffed. No refills on the drinks or even checking on us. Had to go ask for napkins and silverware at the counter. I wanted to pay my bill, but the waiter was nowhere to be found. Waited at the counter for 10 minutes without being acknowledged to ask for my check and pay. They need to train their staff better and hire more waiters.

The food was amazing, our server was excellent, and the margaritas were excellent. The atmosphere was wonderful as well. The server was friemdly, prompt at getting us our orders, cleaning up when we had empty plates, and helped me box up the food. We got the tamarind margaritas which are part of the margaritas sampler but he brought us full size tamarind margaritas even though they weren’t on the menu.

The salsa dip was really good with the tortilla and omg the guacamole was really good nothing like I have tasted before it had flavor. The margarita flights was good except the mango flavored one it didn’t taste like mango at all. The sangria I didn’t like and they changed the flavor and it had dry wine eww I hate dry wine but if you guys like dry wine go ahead. The carne asada was good not how usual Mexican restaurant make it but good. The shrimp diabla it’s was good but if you can’t handle spicy this is not for you.

Thank you Jose for excellent service! I had the vegetarian taco dinner. This is the best restaurant that I have been to in this area by FAR. Service is always good and the menu has plenty to pick from. They accommodated my very particular mother and had plenty of vegetarian options. See you next year Vida!
