We traveled by motorcycle for several weeks across Colorado and Vida was our favorite lunch spot by far. Delightful server, fresh and delicious food and fair prices. We were walking through Creede looking for a lunch spot and Vida looked perfect. What an awesome cafe!

Excellent food! The vegan wrap was very good and recommended even for non-vegans. The breakfast bowl with potatoes, eggs, cheese, and veggies was super tasty. The maple-walnut scone was moist and delicious. Very teasonable prices. Fun setting in a historical building.

Ordered a turkey pesto sandwich WITHOUT bacon and lettuce. Cannot have bacon due to Alpha-gal syndrome. An ALLERGEN that can KILL. Kitchen staff admitted to missing the info on the ticket saying “mistakes happen, we do this all day long” and there was only one other table that had ordered food at the time. It’s not like they were busy. They just didn’t bother to pay attention to the order and the sandwich had everything on it. $15 sandwich that was returned and refunded. Laziness can kill people.

My favorite spot in Creede for breakfast and lunch — such that I beeline to this place every time I’m in town. Love the healthy options, high quality ingredients and nice ambiance. Vida is a refreshing dining spot and the staff is super friendly and flexible on the menu (they cheerfully accommodate extra sides like eggs or avocado slices to the breakfast bowls).

Creede was definitely needing some variety where food purchases were concerned, and this was one of two places we found this year (after being 10 yr summer returning campers) that is out-of-this-world spectacular. Breakfast/lunch only. Atmosphere is charming. Menu is cute and plentiful. We were there on a Saturday morning around 11:30 and got a nice table easily. We split a 20-oz Root smoothie and I got the maple/pecan scone while my husband got the savory cheddar/grn chili scone AND a turkey/pesto sandwich. Everything was good but the stand-out stars of the meal were the scones! The fact that VIDA touts healthier options is a gigantic PLUS. Also the staff can’t be beat. The young man behind the counter is a stellar employee. I recognized him having worked at Coffee on the Fly for the past 5 yrs or so. Always friendly, always helpful. An asset wherever we’ve seen him. All staff members just do a great job. All smiles even when busy. I truly believe this place will make it and look forward to visiting every year during our extended time in Creede. Lucky residents!
