Paula was absolutely amazing! The food was incredibly fresh — truly fresh, fresh, fresh — and easily a 10 out of 10.
The attention to detail stood out immediately. Our table was cleared promptly, and dishes were never left sitting. What impressed me even more was the teamwork — the other servers were just as attentive and didn’t hesitate to help tables that weren’t their own. That level of service makes such a difference.
Did I mention Paula was amazing? She truly made the experience exceptional.
My sister drove from Palm Bay, and I drove from St. Petersburg to celebrate her birthday — and it was absolutely worth the drive. The birthday light presentation was the icing on the cake!

We had a great experience at this restaurant! Paula, our server, was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The hostess greeted us warmly, and Buster, along with the other waitstaff, helped create a welcoming and professional atmosphere.

We had a great experience at Vida Mexican & Tequila Restaurant. The food was extremely good, full of flavor, and the portions were absolutely perfect. Everything we ordered was delicious and beautifully presented. The margaritas were phenomenal — definitely some of the best we’ve had!
The only small downside was the service. Our server, Fernando, was okay, but we did feel a bit rushed during our meal. We know the experience could have been even better with a more relaxed pace.
Overall, we truly enjoyed the food and drinks and would definitely come back again.

I absolutely love dining at VIDA Cocina & Tequila! The vibe here is unbeatable, and every visit feels like a celebration. The food blends authentic Mexican flavors with creative, modern twists that keep me coming back again and again. I always enjoy the fresh dishes and craft cocktails, and the atmosphere makes it perfect for bringing friends, family, or business partners to share a great meal and good conversation. Excellent experience from start to finish. The food and sides were exquisite. Gustavo, our server, was amazing and made excellent recommendations. One detail that truly stood out was that he spoke with the chef to prepare grilled broccoli and chicken without seasoning for our dog, who was very happy enjoying his meal. We felt extremely comfortable the entire time. We will definitely be back. Thank you for such wonderful service!

In town for business. I had dinner here two nights in a row because there were several selections I wanted to try. The first night I had the Santo Trio appetizer and Chiles Relleno. Both the appetizer and the main meal were absolutely delicious. The flavor was fabulous. The second night I had the same appetizer with the Tamales for my main course. The tamales were a little dry with an average flavor. It didn’t pop for me.

Fernando was An amazing server. Very caring, kind and respectful. He made sure to check in from time to time to make sure if we needed anything. His attention to detail and ability to recommend things was exceptional. I have no complaints of his service and overall the restaurant, ambiance, drinks and food! I can’t wait to come back! Everything was delicious, food was hot and drinks superb!

Vanessa was our server/host, she was extremely accommodating and ensured we were not in need of anything. We were a party of 13-14 people celebrating a birthday; and she kept our drinks full and our meals staggered out in a timely fashion; from appetizers to main course. Made the experience memorable and seamless for us all. The food was amazing and the drinks were fantastic. Atmosphere was very relaxing with live saxophone playing in the background. We had the deluxe fajitas, tiramisu expresso martini, mango majito and the brisket empanadas, of which all was delicious! The venue was very well kept, clean and inviting.

I have two allergies: Gluten and red meat from a tick bite in Tennessee. So eating out can be difficult. Not only does my life depend on restaurants and staff I carry a epi pen every where I go.
I came to Vida because I saw they have chicken tamales on there menu. Being allergic to red meat or pork i rarely can eat tamales. So, I took advantage of this opportunity to have chicken tamales. Our server was Jorge from Greenville, SC.. I normal have to interview every server at restaurants but not this time. He was very professional, attentive, and took charge to make sure I did not get gluten or red meat with cross-contamination. I felt at ease while there with assurance I would not need my epi pen or hospital.
The chicken tamales were delicious with the black beans with Mexican cheese and rice.
I also had ice cream with coconut, vanilla, strawberry drizzled with a mint leaf on top.
I left word that if the owner would buy a dedicated frier for the chips and other fried foods for gluten allergy it would pay for its self fast. Most Mexican restaurants don’t have one so this restaurant would get a flood of new customers.
Would I recommend this restaurant? Absolutely
Would I return? Absolutely
When the dedicated frier is here I will personally come back to do a new review to get the word out.
