Would recommend trying this place for great and fresh tasting food.
The customer service was great. The place was clean.
Started with drinks and they were amazing. The kids has mocktails which was fun for them. The chips and dips were okay. The dips were watery and had no flavor.
The food came out quickly. They didn’t have much flavor or spice. But it was okay.
10/10. The drinks well thought out and delicious. Everything was fresh and tasted like it was truly crafted with love. We had the cucumber martini and the coconut Rita. Added tajin to the rim and that really made it pop.
Food 10/10: I often judge a Mexican or Tex mex venue by its chips and salsa. These are amazing! You get a green and red.
My wife ordered the blackened mahi mahi tacos and they were perfect! Flavors were on point and the chimichurri really was a stand out feature.
I had the beef fajitas for one. Wow! Also delicious. Meat was tender and savory. Charro beans taste homemade and are on our top best we’ve had. The serving plate was even a highlight. Has a secret drawer to keep your tortillas warm.
Dessert:9/10- Homemade ice cream taco Nutella flavor. Indulgent and delicious!
The ambience on the deck during the day was just right. Can’t wait to eat here for dinner next time we come.
Finally, pro tip if you want an after meal coffee go right next door to Cordouroy Coffee. They have been roasting for 10 years and at this location for a short time, my personal favorite on the island.
So we had to kiss a few frogs along the way but we were totally blown away by the quality of the food, solid drinks, incredible service and general modern atmosphere at Vida Agave.
Our server was Andrea. A gem. Drinks were rushed to the table and we chose Guacamole as an appetizer. Very good. My wife choose the Chicken fajitas and I asked Andrea for her preference on enchiladas chicken verde versus the Chile Rejeno. She said the enchiladas were her choice.
She was not wrong! The fajitas were wonderful. Ann loved the tray under plates with the tortillas. I went gogo-gaga over the enchiladas. Have you ever had enchiladas that were so light they melted in your mouth? I mean I didn’t even have to chew them, and the verdes sauce was incredible.
Drinks were very solid and the Happy Hour prices from 3 to 7 are a winner. I recommend the Margarita martini (pictured).
The atmosphere is very modern and clean. The conversation pit out front is a nice waiting area. The night (November) we were there the outside temp was 72 with very light breezes. Perfect for outside dining.
I could go on for 30 minutes or so but you need to go and check out the hats!
