We were passing thru the area heading to FL and spent the night at Hampton Inn across street.
We ordered the Monday Night wings special and drinks. My preference was the garlic – my Lady preferred the lemon pepper. Serving size of 8 just right. Service was pronto.
We had dined here a couple of years ago, different chef/different menu.
Ingredients are fresh
Malady had fresh squeezed lemonade and I had 2 splendid margaritas. Best kept secret in Richmond. THANKS ANGELA.
TRY THIS PLACE OUT!

Good low key place to enjoy some drinks and some decent grub. My meal was good. However, my buddy’s burger came out perfect the first night, but over cooked then under cooked the second time. It’s a hit n miss. Our bartender Dominic was on point when I would order up special drinks. Every attempt was on point, and all they staff were so courteous and friendly! We will most likely need back on our trips through that area.

I’m on the edge of 5 stars in every category “for the venue”. But I’ll just rate 4 across the board. The food is fairly simple, not a pretentious menu, and made well. It’s better than most diners and not quite a tablecloth place, so to speak.
Like a corporate sit down eatery, but without the excess grease and sugar.
Really just decent, good, regular, food.

Waitress was new and very attentive and friendly- bartender was exactly what you want in a hotel bar (experienced, low key, not flashy. Good at upselling- helpful at explaining drinks.)
Atmosphere is good, a little bit overly minimalist but comfortable, quiet, and neat lighting.

Nachos are top notch “east coast Americana” , pub chips are the real thing, chicken Ceasar was very well done- the only caveat there is it was not tossed with dressing (it should be, at least lightly)

I know this sounds underwhelming, but it’s actually a surprisingly good experience and much better than I was hoping for.

Great job.

As I was in town for a business function we decided to eat at this venue 2 nights in a row. Our first night our waitress was spot on. Very attentive and the atmosphere was rather perky. The salmon was excellent! Now for the 2nd night….really didnt enjoy what I ordered. And our waitress was “not their” what I mean in a mindset kind of way. I would like to give some constructive criticism here as I also mentioned to the bartender before leaving. I think the owner of the hotel/restaurant needs to implement a “NO CELL PHONE WHILE WORKING” rule. Our waitress was on hers too much. Also if you have a uniform rule then our waitress should also follow that rule. She seems sweet but she just seemed sad.

Lack flavored wings and alfredo penne pasta at best, side chips had a unique taste, seasoned green beans where my type flavor. Maybe a second visit will prove me inaccurate…enjoy your visit and submit your review.

I travel a lot, but have decided to settle in Richmond. Came in one night for take out. In paying for the food, the waitress told me that I could receive a receipt for the take out order if I gave her a tip. I told her I don’t give tips for take out. She thanked me out loud, “Thanks for the tip.” She was obviously annoyed that I didn’t tip her. She then virtually threw the take out order in front of me. Never will I return to eat at Victory Bar and Grill.

I enjoyed a side salad, broccoli and lemon backed salmon that was wonderful. My husband had a hamburger and fries that he enjoyed.

This is a perfect example of “trust the reviews”. I ordered sliders and a quesadilla. It took a very long time to get the food and they weren’t busy, only two other parties in the place. The sliders were dry as toast and apparently they don’t understand cheese goes in a quesadilla. See picture. I don’t know what that is but it’s no kind of cheese I’m familiar with. I only went there as a matter of convenience , staying next door. Never again.

I ate breakfast and dinner here. Breakfast was great, they had a wide selection and everything was fresh. Dinner was also delicious. The options were a little pricey, but overall you got a big portion for what you paid for. Even the appetizers were large. As for the service, everything was great the waitress was nice and catered to our needs. She brought out are refills quickly and was on top of things. Overall my experience was great and I will definitely go back here.
