My husband picked Victor’s because of the ambiance for a nice romantic dinner to celebrate my birthday. To my surprise, I did not enjoy my meal. Our server seemed pretty new and unsure of how things worked. I should’ve known something was wrong when the breading was falling off our calamari as we tried to eat it. Okay no big deal with that. Now it’s time to enjoy our thick cut pork chop, ribeye and pimento cheese grits. I was totally disappointed in my meal. The pork chop was dry and my fingerling potatoes needed a few more minutes in the oven. My husband enjoyed his steak but the broccoli was overcooked and it was served with what seemed to be canned mushrooms. The pimento cheese grits put the nail in the coffin for us. The grits were undercooked and served at room temperature with the pimento cheese was plopped on top like an afterthought. I’m not a picky eater but for the amount of money we spent on dinner I would have expected the quality to be much better than what we were served. I hate to say that I won’t be a repeat customer.

The lobster and she crab soup was excellent, as well as the cocktails and service. However, the ribeye tastes like it came from Aldi, the mushrooms were canned and the broccoli was frozen. Very disappointing. Outback or Longhorn would have been a better option.

I had an amazing experience at Victor’s Seafood & Steak in Charleston, especially with the beautiful, upscale interior that made the whole night feel special. I ordered the Wagyu Bistro Steak, and it was perfectly cooked, incredibly tender, and full of rich, buttery flavor. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-tier dining experience.

We walked in and were seated immediately. We saw they were having a $1 oyster special that day. The atmosphere, food and service were very good. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. However, we were charged $72 for 24 oysters. We asked about the price and were told that was only for the bar area!! Nothing on the advertising stated that nor were we informed prior or when seated to make that choice. We had a good experience there other than the bait and switch on the oyster special so be aware and ask before you order. We didn’t complain however, it did taint the experience and therefore the overall 3 stars.

This restaurant honestly was pretty decent -food wise. However, for us (2) to dine in, the service was by far the best we have ever experienced. Our severe, Koji, not only hooked us up tremendously but also made us feel welcomed. Next time you’re here, ask for him!

Disappointing. For a higher end restaurant the atmosphere was the high light. We received our calamari after our food can. When the food came out I stated we did not receive our appetizers yet and the gentleman just shook his head. Our waiter stated that the kitchen didn’t get it right and just walked away. We ate. I had the pork chop which was dry,the fingerling potatoes were cold and the geeen beans were hard and tasteless. My husband had the seafood carbonara which he stated was good but not a lot of flavor. We didn’t pay for the calamari as I stated it came after our meal. It was taken off the bill. Overall a disappointing experience.

Total WOW experience. We walked in without a reservation (staying nearby at the Bennett) and lucked out with a table.
Started thinking salad… ended up with the shellfish platter after our server explained it—and thank goodness we did. Shrimp, tuna tartare, all amazing. Big filet for me, prime rib for my hubby, plus crab cakes added to both (server suggestion!) and it was .
Great wine picks, great vibes, and an extra big shout-out to Carah for being an awesome server. We’ll 100% be back while we’re in town.

Victor’s was not on our radar but we realized it was close by and the menu looked good. We decided to give it a try and we are glad we did. The food and drink were top notch, the service was stellar, and the ambiance was wonderful. We would definitely go there again.

We went News Year Eve early lobster and crab soup was horrible very pasty and had a burnt flavor returned all bowls. The steak and food came out ice cold. They had to redo all servings. Then put cold sauce on top again. Steak was seasoned well and was delicious. The waitress was awesome. This was the beginning of the night with 6:00 reservations. Few table occupied at that time. Appeared food was prepped and not heated yet. They acknowledged the issues and were gracious.

We came here to celebrate my sister’s birthday. They made her evening very special and I would recommend it if you are having a celebratory night. I had the prime rib, it was cooked well and tasty but lukewarm when it arrived at our table. My sister had the Kansas City Ribeye. She thoroughly enjoyed it. We also had the Bison as a starter, it was soo good. The drinks were great as well. Espresso martini was easily the best I’ve ever had. Our server was Jalen, he was attentive but not overbearing. Would visit again.
