We had an enjoyable dinner for four individuals in a lovely and quiet setting. The food was outstanding as was the ambience. The only disappointment was that the server started removing plates while others at the table were still dining. She not only removed their plates but also the cutlery, leaving others to discontinue eating entirely or rushing them. It would have been a better experience overall had we been able to enjoy the meal as a group with no disruption.

This place needs to understand that if someone is giving you money then you want to treat them well. The food is forgettable but the price tag isn’t. Victors needs to either pivot to what the area’s customers really want or move to downtown Minneapolis. You won’t be wowed here there are better places to eat on the same block. They haven’t corrected the snooty and unwelcoming atmosphere that they have created.

A welcomed menu/venue for Excelsior and Lake Minnetonka. Will be returning and highly recommending.
Standouts – they use many local seasonal ingredients and products, their focus is on fresh great tasting food!
Came with a local executive chef with the sole purpose of critiquing the menu. We ate the following:
1) Caesar Salad- Anchovy, garlic, lemon, crouton – white anchovies were a great addition!
2) Grilled Octopus- carrot butter, chili caramel & micro greens. Was fantastic, definitely the best!
3) Grilled NY Steak-summer succotash, gorgonzola, burnt lemon – local beef is definitely a bonus. We had it cooked medium rare, very appealing and recommended plate!
4) Pizza (GF) The ‘Smokey Robinson’- house smoked chicken, chevre, garlic, herb – we ordered the Gluten Free crust which they make in-house. Could have eaten a second.
5) Cucumber-Basil Gimlet – Very refreshing, the veteran bar tenders are the differentiator.
6) Espresso – was a great way to cap off the meal.
