I’m giving this restaurant a solid 3.5. Everything was overall good. Nothing stood out as “great”. Just good food. My waiter was very pleasant and attentive. The atmosphere is very cute. The “old fashion” drink was deliciously made. Food was a little too saucy. I love sauce but don’t want my friend shrimp drenched in it. The egg rolls were good. The lamp chops where not cooked medium well as I asked but the flavor was delicious. Some complimentary bread or biscuits would have been nice. I was also surprised by the side order options, considering this is a black owned restaurant they didn’t have mac and cheese, greens, or yams as options.

Had a fantastic experience here! Every bite of food was a total delight; I had the crab cakes and they were full of crab, savory, and had an amazing sauce. The service was also impeccable; attentive and knowledgeable. Chef Rock is a master! This is a must-visit.

Customer service 10/10! Everyone from the counter staff to the owner was very nice. The owner interacted with every single customer while also cooking to ensure everyone was satisfied. That alone will make me return. The food was good. Worth the price for what you get. Overall, I will return. My only suggestion is to look into a better hood/exhaust system because it gets very smoky inside and it gets in your clothes. But the food was hot, fresh and made to order.

Went here twice with a friend. Both times were amazing. Best crab cakes I’ve had in my life, best tasting lamb chops, and wings are phenomenal. It’s a family run business and their customer service makes you feel like you’re part of their family, having lunch or dinner with them. If I’m ever in the area again, I’ll definitely go back!

Everything about this establishment is 100% correct. From entering in the hospitality and warm welcome was amazing. The chef being present is always a plus. Such a very positive and kind man. The food definitely flavorful. Presentation beautiful, portion size excellent, quality of food is top tier. Tried the classic box( Jumbo lump crab cake, Mac and cheese, broccoli, steak sandwich. It looked so good we had to take a bite before leaving. Definitely will be coming again and spreading the word amongst my friends, family and colleagues.

Called to place an order and Chef Rock recommended we come in and order to ensure we received our food hot. The flavor of everything from the broccoli to the lamb to the crab cake was cooked to perfection. I even had the enjoyment of taking leftovers for lunch the next day and it still did not disappoint. I will be back many times !

I’m extremely disappointed with how this situation was handled. I placed an order through Uber Eats and the first driver stole my food. Unfortunately that happens sometimes, but what really upset me was the restaurant’s response afterward.

When replacement drivers came to pick up the order, the staff refused to give them the food because they didn’t want to remake it. As a customer, that left me stuck in the middle of a situation that wasn’t my fault. I paid for my meal and expected the restaurant to either remake it or help resolve the issue.

I’ve supported this business for a long time, including at the owner’s previous restaurant, and I’ve spent a lot of money here because I believed in supporting them. That’s why this experience was especially disappointing. Loyal customers shouldn’t be left without their order because a driver stole it.

I hope management takes situations like this more seriously in the future and works with delivery services to make things right for customers.

The customer service was top notch. Atmosphere was chill. The over priced bill on a side of cabbage was through the roof. Ordered 2 orders of cabbage and was charged $20. Asked to get that fixed, but since we already paid it was a no go. Check your bill, and check it again. Wasnt a happy camper.

Ill be back, but I will be double checking my bill.

I was really excited to try chef rock after burying my grandmother and my husband and I were met with disappointment. We made reservations for 6:30. The Hostess was not at the front to receive guest. First waitress didn’t notice us. Second waitress looked us dead in face walking to a table she was serving and walking back with zero acknowledgment. 3rd waiter comes and we are able to flag him down and says he will get the hostess. Hostess seats us and we were left waiting from there. Servers were extremely unaware of tables or at least acted as such. Just to give context it was enough time for me to sit figure what we wanted for apps and main courses as well as drinks and try to find a bathroom and no one had come to our table with at least a cup of water. I then proceeded to walk from my table to the bar to the one waiter who acknowledged us and he even looked bewildered that we hadn’t been helped with at least a drink by then. He proceeded to get the same waitress who looked us dead in our faces when we’ were trying to be seated so we left. We did not feel welcome one bit. I guess customer service is dead and I won’t suggest them to anyone unfortunately. Oh and I forgot one notable mention while waiting I had a full view of a woman straddling her date. The entire time. That was weird

I am in Baltimore on Business,and when I travel I dont take any of my meals lightly. I asked the mayors office, where do I NEED to eat. Their FIRST answer was Victorious. They had me at the title, bit also the excitement in their voice when recommending this place let me know it was where my search needed go start and end.
From my drink to the food. EVERY BITE was delicious and not a crumb was left on my plate.

5 out of 5. This blessed my taste buds
