Hello my Foodies,
I’ve been a busy girl this week and on some adventures with my friends. We decided on Mexican food and found this cozy little place in Little
Ferry NJ. It was rated 4.6 stars, and it’s BYOB. I have to say everything we ordered had a great flavor and everyone had a smile on their face while eating their meal. The server assured us that the food would be great and he was correct. I really liked the decor and the service was very friendly and welcoming. For parking they don’t have a parking lot so you have to park in the street but it’s free to park. I would definitely recommend if you are in the area.
We put our car in for minor bodywork in a shop across the street and decided to try this little restaurant. It was a good decision.
Jamaica was not overly sweet
Tortilla was crunchy. I’m not a fan of refried beans but hubby loved it. Once I got salsa, I enjoyed the tortillas more.
Huachinango a la Veracruzana was red snapper in a tomato based sauce, this dish was delicious! Would go back for this again.
Victoria’s Tostones with Shrimp was just what hubby wanted. Plenty of plantains and the shrimp were deliciously flavored.
It’s a small place. But the decor makes you feel like you might be in a small Mexican town.
Food is great. Very flavorful and fulfilling. Love the coconut shrimps and Cali burrito with shrimp. Strong cheese and sour cream flavor.
It was just the mom running the front and maybe a chef or 2 in the kitchen. Some waiting time to get the food. She was very nice and friendly. Definitely was making sure we got all we needed.
Staff is very welcoming, the ambience is warm and the food is excellent. Either Tacos, Burritos, Chimichangas or anyhting that you try in their menu is always very flavorful, and I loved their Mango tomato salad.
A Wonderful experience every time we visit!
The menu had pretty much all types of Mexican dishes. We started with coconut shrimp that was really good, even better was the mango sauce that came with it. We got the 4oz side of guacamole, freshly made, very tasty. I wished it had little but more citrus and salt.
For entrée, I ordered the chicken and shrimp fajita. It came with 4 soft fresh tacos. There was cheese, pica and sour cream and avocado slices. The chicken and shrimp were on a sizzling hot skillet pan. Loved the flavor of all of it. It was a big dish for one person the finish.
We had a wonderful service. The lady seemed to be running the kitchen and the tables. She was very friendly. She let our daughter take Sombrero hat from the wall and take it a picture.
The staff are friendly but the food was okay. The nachos were good but a very small portion. The tacos were alright and the chicken quesadilla wasn’t anything too special.
This place is overpriced but nothing that special.
