I so desire to support local businesses but…. I can’t help you if you can’t help yourself! I purchased the 6 wing platter. The chicken was not seasoned I had to add salt. I only liked the greens. The Mac and cheese was spicy cheese with some bread crumbs on top. Like why? And they put enough sugar to make you forget you were eating yams. It was hot sugar. Whatever. Then the young lady who was bagging the food was literally eating and drinking over the food. She was eating chips right in front of customers. C’mon. I waited for over 20 minutes for this? I honestly didn’t want to even eat the food but I paid $30. I won’t be returning.

Ordered ribs and chicken today with heeens and candied yams. Delicious meals all the way around. I’ve never actually been to the physical location which is why I didn’t rate the atmosphere. But the food was on point and made me and my wife very happy.

I came here for the 1st time as a Door Dash driver vs a patron. I was greeted with a smile by both young ladies and they advised me in a timely fashion both orders were not ready and needed 15 more minutes.
I saw they also sell sea moss gel in many flavors –‘Bonus + their menu looks really reasonable price wise.
It looks like there are a lot of cooks with not enough kitchen space ,but they were managing to get the orders flowing.

So I ordered an order of whiting fish, asparagus, a warm piece of cornbread, and then it says a piece of cornbread is supposed to come with it. I paid the extra dollar and some change for a piece of cornbread.. and all I got was two pieces of fish so I called up there and I asked the lady was cornbread supposed to come with it and what happened to the asparagus. She says to me no you ordered a piece of fish. Now they printed the receipt out let’s take a look, And then she admits that they forgot to put the cornbread in there and she apologized. That’s all she can give me even though I gave her my money. take a look at the receipt and what does it say, She kept on saying what you ordered was a full meal, But you only paid Eight dollars. I paid 16.95

It is very hard to find a great place nowadays! The food was amazing and reasonably priced, the service was phenomenal and the people were great! Honestly I’m surprised this place doesn’t have 5 stars but that happens when people come in hating it from the beginning before you do anything! Great job, I will be back!

Portion sizes are small. Hot and honey wings were cold, old baked chicken with cheap hot sauce. Mac and cheese had a good taste but small portion. Collard green were gritty. Maybe clean them one more wash? Fried fish was supposed to be whiting but they gave me basa I didn’t order. Won’t be returning. Always wanted to try it… now I know.

Unfortunately, we were not pleased with our order. We only ordered sides and each one missed. The Candied yams, were not Candied and were still hard and not fully cooked. The fork could barely cut through it. The cabbage tasted like nothing at all. And the mac and cheese appeared as though they scraped the sides of the pan to produce the three sides we ordered. It was dry and overcooked.
The prices keep increasing and the quality is decreasing.

Never ordering from here again! THEY Got My ORDER WRONG ! I ASKED FOR 10 salt and pepper wings with garlic parm sauce ( got regular 5 wings), fish with mac & cheese candied yams, potato salad , corn bread and string beans … hot sauce on the side and a lemonade . the mac is horrible
