The food was good. Very much the home cook feels to it. The staff were very friendly and it happened to be a busy day and we still got our food at a decent time. I would eat here again.

I will say the front of the store had a little window with baked goods, little cookies and stuff but they were all pretty dry. Those I would not order again.

This place was fantastic! I have allergies due to my Lyme Disease and it’s really hard for me to find food I can eat when I travel. These ladies were so nice and so sweet! They specially made me my breakfast. It was so delicious and filling and the prices were great. The atmosphere was great and very open. It made me feel like a kid again with my family cooking in the kitchen.

Stopped in for breakfast as we were leaving to explore the area. Not the best breakfast or even all that good. Large potions but not too good. Ordered the Canadian combo and a side of sausage. The eggs were cooked well and tasty. Super hot restaurant could have used fans or AC as it wasn’t that warm outside but you are sitting next to the grill so hot. The sausage side for breakfast isn’t breakfast sausage and was overdone. The French toast was ok but a bit greasy. The potatoes were smothered in some seasoning and in my opinion not edible due to this seasoning. Strawberry jam was the best thing on the plate but the bread was tough especially for white bread… Overall wouldn’t be somewhere I’d recommend or probably return.

Everyone is super kind and sweet. I laughed when another guest said, “Did you just take a picture of your food? Now we know you aren’t from around here.” Haha! Victoria’s Kitchen is a diner serving breakfast all day. The price is amazing and the food was filling. I had coffee and our total was $15 since the pancakes were a special. We shared the Finnish pancakes and Western omelet. The Finnish pancake reminds me of a dutch baby pancake but thicker with more custard. I really liked it especially with the berry topping. The omelet had the egg on top of the traditional stuffings, so it is not mixed together or tightly wrapped. When my friend and I travel we always get different dishes and share so we can try more things. I would suggest that and I would definitely come back to try more things!

Nice little place downtown. Owner was a nice lady that had a good sense of humor! Eggs were very good. Pancakes were very good. Omelet was pretty good, but had a lot of potato in it and toppings werent very balanced across the Omelet. There was also no bottom to the Omelet, it was more of all of the ingredients and then the egg on top. Toast was homemade! Price was very good though. Cheaper than fast food and service was very quick. I would go back here!

I’ve been burnt out of all the places to eat out in the area, never got to this one cause it always crosses my mind after they’re closed. Walked in today and immediately realized that this was the type of restaurant I’ve been wanting in this area for so long. Incredibly cozy interior, friendly wait staff, and incredible food. You’ll really feel at home here. Prices are amazing in today’s economy, portions are good! 10/10 value. The seasoned potatoes are better than i could have imagined. Instead of cubed or hashed, they’re smashed with the skin on. Possibly the best breakfast potatoes I’ve ever eaten. The J & N omelet I got was also delicious. Plate was absolutely covered in molten cheese and it everything was flavorful. Easy member of the clean plate club. My partner got the Finnish pancake, absolutely insane texture and the jam they serve it with is amazing. Got some baked goods at the counter for fifty cents each, still walked out paying under 20 dollars. My only complaint is that they aren’t open for dinner!!

Lunch was good here, we had Vegetarian Fatayer and Falafel. The price here for food is not too bad. Quality is ok, they could definitely make it more tasty and work on some spices. If you’re looking for vegetarian options this is definitely the place to go as there are not many around in downtown Houghton. The staff was friendly and warm. It’s open only until 2 pm.

Decor is super basic which is fine cause they put their heart and soul into the food. We had pasties , seasoned potatoes and yogurt and all exceeded expectations. Their cinnamon rolls are the size a lot a small cake and looked phenomenal . So, If you’re looking for really good food and don’t mind simple seating this is for you. Very friendly staff too. Prices: inflation has not hit this place. Under $10 per plate.
