Well, we didn’t meet a Victoria on our visit, so I don’t know what that is about, but it is a café in the sense that they made me breakfast. So the name could be okay, but I’m reserving judgement until they produce a Victoria.

The food here was swell, and you would enjoy it. But I really don’t know you very well. But trust me, it’s swell. Freshly prepared from actual stuff, it tastes great, and you’ll like it a bunch. I had a skillet with a bunch of great veg in it. It was very tasty. Try that. If you want. But as we’ve established, I don’t really know you that well. You might like the French Toast better. You be you.

We visited Victoria’s Café in Vancouver for breakfast yesterday and had a mixed experience.

The food overall was okay. My husband ordered an omelette that was probably about a 2.5 out of 5, but the breakfast potatoes were absolutely delicious — definitely the highlight of the plate. I ordered the classic eggs Benedict, which I’d rate about a 3 out of 5. It was decent. I chose the fruit option on the side and most of it was good, although several of the blueberries had mold on them. I understand how quickly fresh fruit can turn, so I’m not holding that against them, but it’s something that should be checked before serving.

The atmosphere, however, felt a bit neglected. The building appears older, which is understandable, but it didn’t seem well cared for. The bathroom in particular looked rundown — almost as if it should have been out of order. Attention to detail and upkeep go a long way in creating a welcoming environment, and that piece felt lacking.

One bright spot was our server. He was the only employee working — serving, hosting, and bussing tables — and handled it impressively. Although he seemed a bit somber at times (which is understandable given the workload), he greeted every table with a smile and was polite and accommodating throughout our visit. That level of effort did not go unnoticed.

I’m not sure what the future holds for this café, but I hope they’re able to invest some attention into the details and upkeep. With stronger consistency in food quality and improvements to the atmosphere, it could be a much better experience.

What a delightful gem! I found Victoria’s Cafe via Google search for breakfast restaurants. This place was a sweet surprise. The sun was streaming through the windows, the coffee is delicious, and bonus, locally roasted in Washougal and sold in Camas. My food came out quickly and was oh so tasty. The staff is friendly and attentive. I am already planning my next visit.

My hus- brown was extra crispy almost bit too crisp. Over cooked . The sausage was good and eggs cooked perfectly. Pancakes were delicious soft and fluffy. The other plate the same the potatoes were overcooked as in crispy potatoes dry. Overall was ok food was great. Service was excellent fast and did take 15-20 minutes to serve however I wasn’t in rush. Coffee was excellent and loved fact they had a handful of small creamer. That’s a pulse for me I love creamer other places only give you 3 . Anyway the place small and cute cozy for a breakfast meal in the morning. Seating available outside. Had parking out back was convenient. No complaints. People are nice and friendly.

We tried stopping in a couple months ago but it was so busy that we chose to just come back another time and it surprisingly not as “packed” for a Saturday morning. I mean, it was busy but we were able to be seated at the bar top right away. Staff was nice and checked on us once throughout our meal. They were all young adults. Service was really slow. We waited so long for our food that my fitness watch alerted me I was sitting too long and needed to stand up. We got the chicken and waffles and biscuits and gravy. Portions were decent for the price. Everything was tasty but definitely not worth the super long wait for. My husband does want to come back again to try their skillets, but I’m in no rush to visit again any time soon.

A cute breakfast place close to Ft Washington. Clean every where’bm
Tables are a little small for the big plates they serve. Very small interior but a lot of character. Server was very pleasant, I think she was the only one but two jus boys who had an eversion to clearing the dishes. That being said, some of the best houveos ranchero’s I have had in a long time, the special, eggs Benedict were excellent and the king sized Belgian waffle was gone in a flash.
Get there early, the smell place fills up fast

I have been coming to Victoria’s Cafe for approximately 1-1/2 years. The main entree I have ordered is the chicken fried steak breakfast, rated 5 stars until today. The new chicken fried steak is tough, flavor is off and Idon’t care for the texture, I had 3 bites and left the rest of it. The other meals I’ve had rated 5 stars. The staff are courteous, friendly, and very efficient.

I’m very upset after spending $30 on a breakfast that’s uneatable! My fork was dirty with food stuck in it server got me a new one! I wish I could rate a zero! My toast burnt, my eggs were not cooked correctly n the corned beef was fatty n mostly consisted of hard home style potatoes with lots of green peppers! I wanted hash browns n so the nice server Joshua only positive about my experience here, had them make me some to go. Omg soaked in grease! I just wanted to go home at this point! I’ve just had surgery
n wanted to eat a nice breakfast n steak n eggs but the server was honest n said it was hit or miss on the quality n tenderness could’ve been tough! I selected the corned beef. I should have gotten the tough steak or better nothing at all n went for a donut or McDonald’s breakfast! At least I wouldn’t have spent over $30 for a meal I’m dumping! I should be credited my money back immediately! I called n spoke to Joshua n told him I should be reimbursed or the owner contact me. Who knows..
Respectfully
