We wanted to go to Victoria Tandoor for a long time and we finally did just to get disappointed. It says Authentic Indian Cuisine, but tastes nowhere near it.
It was nice feeling when we entered inside. The lighting, furniture and seating arrangements are just awesome. The ambience makes you feel so welcomed.
We wanted to place an order for the starters first and then the main course after seeing the quantity and the tastes. But the they insisted on placing the order together. we were looking for someting spicy and asked for a suggestion. We were told you place the order and we can make it spicy.
We ordered for tandoori platter and chilli paneer. Lamb Kadai with Garlic nann. Never seen starters served as gravy… Paneer chilli was not dry, but semi gravy type and was sweet. No taste of chilli in it. Again the Lamb kadai was so blan. No spices in it.

Up in Mansfield visiting this weekend, wanted a nice Indian restaurant and found this place online. The food was amazing, turned up pretty quickly, food was hot and just tasted delicious. Both of us had a Chicken Tikka Masala which we would definitely recommend. The staff are so lovely and welcoming and the vibe of the place was so relaxing and warm. Not sure if we will ever be back in Mansfield again but if we did visit we would definitely come back here.

Really good curry and good evening meal. Clean restaurant. The garlic and cheese Naan was amazing. Reasonably priced too. Plenty of choice on the menu. Not easy to park nearby. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Rang up to tell them it’s cold and we wanted a refund said they can’t give us a refund because we have the food now. WHAT A JOKE. Then said we’d get 20% off next time. LIKE ID BE GOING THERE AGAIN.

Food very bland all tastes same, presentation looks like they couldn’t be bothered and very loud group swearing, drunk shouting staff seem to forget about everyone else. Won’t be coming back.

where do I start ? nearly waited an hour for it to be served, which was cold when it came out as well. very bland no taste husbands sizzling tandoori mix grill was cold but the tray was hot ???? prawns texture was like mush and supposed to be king prawns but they were tiny little pieces ? both of our naans were cold at the bottom of them and didn’t taste nice. just a general customer service was lacking and when the chap asked if we enjoyed our meal my husband said no not rarely and he didn’t even question why ????? just hoping to God that I’m going to be okay tonight as I can already feel it sitting right up near my windpipe

Went for a catch with a friend from the moment we walked in the service was exceptional. Great attention to detail, couldn’t do enough for us, Had the Butter chicken absolutely fantastic, portion was very generous, took home the obligatory doggy bag, highly recommended second visit will most definitely be back.
