A big surprise to find a Chinese restaurant in Kamloops on the way to Vancouver. The dishes are hometown tasting. Also welcomed by locals. 5 takeaways during our dinner. Warm service.

Diced chicken with peanuts and hot chili. There is absolutely no chili whatsoever. I said we want it hot too. If the traffic wasn’t so horrendous I would have brought it back. Chow mein and Sweet and sour pork were ok but pretty basic. Really disappointing.

Delicious food; but better yet, big hefty portions like the old days!

You won’t leave this restaurant feeling hungry, I got my fill!

Recommend the beef curried fried rice!

General Tso’s spicy chicken is pretty good, too!

certainly not a modern facility but the bathrooms and restaurant are clean. wide variety on the menu. parking is a bit difficult – we’re just stopping by in kamloops and aren’t familiar with the area either.

massive portions which are awesome and we recommend the sesame chicken. it’s the classic style, perfect amount of sauce and crispy. veggie fried rice was great too!

Ordered combination C (spring roll, beef & broccoli, chicken fried rice, and sweet and sour chicken), and soy sauce chowmein with 2 spring rolls.

The beef and broccoli plus sweet and sour chicken were a smash hit. Highly recommend, especially the sweet and sour chicken. The chicken fried rice was the only hold back were the egg used in the dish seemed “off” and overpowered the rest of the flavors more than it should of. The spring rolls were too notch and I’d highly recommend them. Each bite had a nice burst a flavor and I wanted to keep eating them.

The chowmein was was great and I would order it again in a heartbeat. The portion side was plentiful and the flavor was delicious and savory.

Price was great and ordering over the phone was easy.

If I was in Kamloops again, this would likely be my go-to place for Chinese food.

Perfect classic won ton soup with broccoli, and it seemed like the won tons were made in house – they were very good. Glad I went out of my way to come here.

This is really a good spot in Kamloops if you looking for dim sum. The owner is friendly and fast and the food is good. Definitely will come back again for dim sum next time in Kamloops.

The food is always good but the service could use some work! Great place to order takeout from! Best Dim Sum in town!

Don’t be turned away by the unassuming appearance of the restaurant: the dim sum is delicious and the stir-fried chow mein has “wok hei”!

It’s hard to find proper Dim Sum in BC outside of Vancouver, but this place offers a large variety of good tasting options, even during these struggling Covid dining times.
Especially recommend the crystal shrimp “shrimp dumpling”.
(Excuse the poor presentation of these photos, it’s take-out due to lockdown)

The inside has an elegant Chinese dining room and the staff are from China and have the generations of experience producing these foods.
