I hadn’t been back here for a long… time, and the change is huge—in a really good way. The place feels brighter now, with cute decorations. The food portions are actually very big, so I’m not sure why some people say they’re small. The new team has really made this place better. I’ll definitely be coming back more often. Their Tom Yum Soup is bomb!! Full of flavor. Their lunch special even comes with a drink, which I don’t think many restaurants offer anymore.

I passed by and this place is real hole in the wall!! The portion is huge, i ordered pad see ew with shrimp&beef also Thai Tea, both of them are incredible good also super fair price. Super affordable. Friendly staff. I will definitely bookmark this place every time when I’m going to the North Hollywood area.

First time trying Vic’s Thai. I ordered panang curry and Thai tea. Thai tea is sweet, creamy and good amount of tea aroma. But the real star is of course their panang curry!!!! Their panang is rich and creamy with the right amount of spices. And the sliced kaffir lime leaf just hit the spot, adding more vibrant to my panang 🙂 LOVE IT!!!
Definitely will come back to try their other items

It’s been about 10 years since our last visit. (We moved to another state) In the past, we regularly drove 40 minutes round trip at least twice a month to eat here.
Our usual orders were chicken panang curry, beef pad see ew, beef broccoli with fried rice, orange chicken with fried rice, and Thai tea. Previously, the food was consistently good with generous portion sizes.
On this visit, the food tasted noticeably different compared to before. Portion sizes and presentation have changed, and the Thai tea no longer comes in the large styrofoam cup with crushed ice that it used to.
The service was very friendly. The food did take a bit longer to come out, which is understandable since it appeared there was only one cook and one cashier working at the time.
Overall, while the restaurant brought back memories, the food did not match our past experiences.

It’s my first time trying this place. We ordered Padthai , Pad See Ewe and also Tom Yum seafood. We really impressed with the taste of the food and portions. The food is actually way better than other sit down thai restaurants and reasonable price for their portions stated at $13. We added seafood $4 for our orders. They are pretty generous and they provide a good service even though most likely the people order for take out. Highly recommended if you would like to have a good thai food or if you live around that area.

This is a solid spot if you’re craving flavorful Thai foods. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and everything tastes fresh and well-seasoned. The BBQ pork over fried rice and pad see ew are especially good, and the flavors do hit the spot every time. Definitely a go-to neighborhood Thai spot that’s worth coming back to.

I used to live in the hood. Great flavor with great portions. I loved the pepper shrimp. No more pepper shrimp. The menu is much smaller. The food is still good but the PORTIONS are smaller. Shrinkflation. Bummer.

If you want real Thai food that’s been holding it down in LA for over 40 years, Vic’s is the spot. Nothing fancy — just straight-up flavorful, comforting, old-school Thai that never misses.
I’ve tried a bunch of places around the city, but Vic’s has that classic flavor you don’t find anymore. The Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, and green curry are all super solid, packed with flavor, and the portions are generous. Everything tastes fresh, and you can tell they’ve been perfecting these recipes for decades.
Service is quick, friendly, and no-nonsense. It’s one of those neighborhood gems that’s been feeding the community forever, and you feel it as soon as you walk in.
If you want bomb Thai food at a good price from a spot with real history, you can’t go wrong with Vic’s. Total hidden gem vibe — still going strong after 40+ years
