We rented a private space for our reception dinner and I genuinely couldn’t have asked for a more amazing place to have it! Food 10/10, Atmosphere 10/10, Service 10/10, Decor 10/10!!!!! They decorated the room beautifully and the balcony over river street was so beautiful and fun. The girls who were our servers were so amazing and kind and did a fantastic job through and through. If you are in Savannah or have a private event you have to go here!! You will not be disappointed!! Save room for dessert if you want amazing cheesecake!

Located on the vibrant and bustling River Street of Savannah, GA, Vic’s offers an elevated dining experience with a refined atmosphere. They host a live pianist who played everything classical to smooth jazz. The table settings and decor is also a nice touch. They also offers bar seating. The service was nice and there was little to no wait time.

It was so good we went twice during our 5 days in Savannah. The atmosphere is something out of Paris. The service was impeccable. The food was amazing! This location is on the waterfront, casual upscale dining. Order the french onion soup, crab cake, shrimp & grits, and the Airline Chicken. Classic cocktails with new twists and good wine list. For me, ALWAYS anything from the Rhone Valley, which was perfect for meal options. My husband declared shrimp and grits the best yet- I’d have to agree. Go!

Everything was fantastic – cocktails, appetizers, entrees, and service. Best shrimp and grits we’ve ever had. The diver scallops and couscous was a lighter and just as delicious entree. My Old Fashioned was done right (IYKYK). We ate at the bar and received top notch service from Xavier. We will be back.

This restaurant was a unexpected pleasant surprise. The have a perfect patio overlooking the river but it was completely empty. I’m hesitant when a place looks empty but there were people inside and we found out Vic’s on the river was the sister restaurant and that place is popular but the ambiance wasn’t for us. We grabbed a table outside on the patio and thoroughly enjoyed our meal, server, and the view. Highly recommend. Pictured is the delicious shrimp and grits. Blue crab beignets are a great appetizer.

A most excellent dinner experience at an unassumingly quaint spot off the riverfront plaza! The food was delicious…some of the best shrimp and grits I’ve tasted. Our server was personable and very knowledgeable about the food. Would definitely recommend this place!

Where is the “10” stars option? Our group chose Vic’s River Grill for a birthday celebration and it was definitely over the top! Starting with the organizer, Nicole, making everything absolutely perfect upon our arrival to our Kate, otherwise known as our most superb server, and finally to the appearance by the precious co-owner/chef, Wheaton, who visited to make certain all were pleased! The food, the cocktails, the champagne, and the ambiance were absolutely awesome! Among our group of 12, I believe we taste-tested almost the entire menu and the food was amazing. The delivery was impressive for a group of our size and the presentations were spectacularly done! Whether dinner for a couple, brunch for friends, or hosting a larger event, Vic’s River Grill is a top choice!

We visited family in Savannah, GA and had a great time. We walked down River St. and decided on eating here with a group of 13 people. They seated us on the second floor which felt more quiet and busy than the 1st floor. It almost felt like we had our own private room, with just one other large group next to us.

Our server was quick and attentive. We had a she crab soup to start, it was my favorite thing of the dining experience, however I did find a few small shells. For our entrees we had the seared scallops, they were delicious, and the steak frites, the fries weee good, the steak was okay, not as tender as I had expected and the sauces was a little too much. Overall I might return, but with so many dining options in the area, I’d probably keep searching for something better.
