You can have an Italian gelato experience but I am more of a sorbet person. Both delicious here. Very clean and comfortable feeling in the store! Strawberry and passion fruit was my choice. And my friend went with pistachio and kinder. Would go there everyday if I lived close to this place.

This is my favorite go to place for gelato ice-cream. I have the coffee gelato milkshake and it is great. I even went when it was cold to get one. They also have excellent sorbet as well. Thank you Vico Gelato

A very neat, relaxing little corner shop with an array of different flavors of gelato. The boy behind the counter is really quick and respectful. He gets orders done and greets every new customer that comes in. This place has turned into one of favorite places to get a sweet treat!

The key line pie flavor here is my favorite gelato flavor of all time and I can’t find anything similar anywhere else. The employee at the counter told me they only sell it in the summer. PLEASE make sure to bring it back every year!!!!!! I will buy it by the kilogram

We came in because my grandchild wanted ice cream on a very cold, stormy day. I bought two scoops for myself and asked for a very small tasting portion for my grandchild, who wanted strawberry and chocolate together. I was told they could not put two flavors in a small cup and that it had to be “two scoops,” with no flexibility shown. The rude attitude left a negative impression.

Their gelato sooo nice I really liked the belgium dark chocolate, ferrero rocher and fior de latte(milk) flavor! He was so kind helping me to choose the flavor, various options of desserts I wanna try later and the view is also great to work and study!

The gelato and cookies are tasty, good texture as well as oodles if options.. however the muffins,, those need improvement,, they need a better fruit to cake ratio, essentially add the fruit to batter so there is a blend and moisture, or something,.. bc right now the fruit (i.e blueberries) were only on top, leaving a mealy cake.. other than that the atmosphere is great along with the music. Yum! Love Vico’s Gelato and Caffe. I come here with my family often. Selection is great, quality superb, outdoor area is lovely despite the noise from Bergenline on summer weekends. Best of all, it’s an excellent coffee place too. Order the afogato and you won’t regret it guaranteed.
Vico has friendly dedicated staff who is always on top of their game even when the place is packed. Shout out to the employees here who always hustle to make sure every customer is happy and the line keeps moving. I never see them crack under pressure.
The interior is nice too, with big spacious windows facing both Bergenline and 79th Street. The space is mostly white with wooden tones, and doesn’t feel cluttered even when there’s a rush. Bathroom was clean, which is a big plus. I often recommend this place to others.
The one thing I do not like about Vico Gelato is the 1 pint to-go containers. They are very floppy, impossible to close, and are very messy. I love bringing back Vico’s Gelato home to my wife, but I always get frustrated with these flimsy containers. If you’re reading this and you’re the owner, please get better single pint containers.

Omg! This place literally has one of the best ice creams I’ve ever tried. I had the amaretto and Ferraro Roche and they were amazing. They’re clean and staff is friendly. Will definitely be returning.
