We live walking distance from this restaurant and have been meaning to try it for months. We finally went today and we were pleasantly surprised by the folks working here. They have a wide variety of items on their menu, something for everyone. There is an open spacious dining room, and the staff could not have been friendlier. We both had the barbecue stuffed baked potato, and it was ok.. we also tried sausage and turkey. We didn’t particularly enjoy the meat. None of it tasted like it had been smoked at all. I am not sure how they’re cooking the meat but you don’t smell or taste smoke. There was no flavor.
Generous portion sizes, As much as anything we really appreciated how friendly all of the people were and seemed genuinely interested in us having a good experience. We hope the food improves to match the goodness of the people who work there.

If you’ve never tried it you are really missing out!! My personal favorite is the Hot link sandwich, baked potatoes and cowboy beans!! The desserts are to die for… I can’t decide on a single favorite!! They have so many things to choose from so it’s a win for everyone in the family!!? The owner is the sweetest person you’ll meet and the down home feel of the restraunt and amazing staff let’s ya know you’re welcomed anytime! If you’re looking for the best BBQ the lake has to offer this is where it’s at!!

This little hometown BBQ joint is tucked way back in the country. What I can say is that if you haven’t been there, you need to go. The food is delicious and you get that hometown feeling when you walk in there. The staff is warm and friendly and very helpful. Another bonus is that it is right on the lake. I placed my order Togo. Sliced beef was so tender and tasty. We got the original bbq sauce but can’t wait to try other that was offered as well. We ordered the Pioneer. Plenty of food for 4. It suggested enough for 3 but I get to have the sliced beef for my work lunch tomorrow. Sides were tasty. The buttermilk pie looked amazing goooood. Definitely trying it next time. Prices were really reasonable. The stuffed jalapeño was really good. A definite gem of a place.

I went 2 times to this place. Food was ok but nothing to brag about. I am not sure how the ratings are so good. The people were friendly and has a good atmosphere but in my opinion. The food was kind of bland for my liking. There are definitely better BBQ places in close range of here.

Got the 2 person bbq plate and it was awesome. Very friendly people and good food. We had eaten most of the food before I stopped to take picture. Brisket was falling apart. Ribs came off the bone, chicken was moist, and sausage had good flavor. I like the mustard bbq sauce and brother liked the regular. Also got pie.

We enjoyed our visit to Vicky’s! The service was phenomenal, the place was clean, and the food was ok. I believe there should be some smoke flavor with bbq. Not sure how they are cooking their meats but it’s not in a smoker.

$8 For a sliced bbq sandwich that was the size of the palm of my hand, slice on a deli slicing machine so thin you could almost see through it. 3 bites and it was gone, the meat did taste good though.
