I want to like and support this place given that I live in Vickery and it is good for the community to have these places succeed. To be honest, I’ve limited coming here because I can get better food for the same price at the other restaurants. But tonight I just wanted something quick to take home after a long day. Placed order and paid, took my bag to go and upon getting home, realized the only thing in the bag was the zucchini fries. I called and they admitted their error. Because I live in the neighborhood and this was my only source of dinner I returned to pick it up. I got a cursory apology with no attempt to “make it right”. By the time I got home, the fries were cold. And this is a picture of my hotdog that cost almost $9 (cheese and relish in the bag with the fries). Next time I want a hotdog that looks like this, I’ll get one off the roller at Racetrac. Oh, and there was only one other couple eating in the restaurant at the time so it’s not like the kitchen was overwhelmed.
Really hard to support local when this is the experience. I won’t bother again.

Let’s start off by saying it was our first time here & unintentionally showed up here bc we were looking for real burgers, not smash burgers. We went in & there was only 1 other couple using the kiosk to order. We decided to order at the register being our first time,we had questions. So we order our food, and how come a burger of any kind does not come with lettuce & tomato seems odd, right? They charge you for the tomato. Our drinks were warm (fresh brewed tea but it was around 1240 at this point) and before I could even sit the ice already melted. Then we sit down and wait for our food. It took 35-40min for our food to arrive. Another couple who came in & sat the bar 20 min after we already ordered, got their food BEFORE US!!!!! SERIOUSLY!! I proceeded to walk to the counter to ask for a refund, then she comes out with our food a minute or two later after the other couple had theirs. I asked for a card for the manager as there was no one on site, she said she could give me her number, & so she did! The excuse that it took so long they were “waiting on fries” 2 orders of fries doesnt take 40 min. Food was subpar for the price, actually the chilly cheese fries tasted no better then any other fast food, and the fries tasted like McDonald’s, so nothing to write home too. Think twice before making your selection, there are other great restaurants selections that taste better, better service and worth the price… oh & we didnt get our receipt either. Make sure you ask for yours JIC.

Ordered kids chicken tenders, garden burger and chicken sandwich and Parmesan truffle fries to go. Chicken tenders were burnt and my kid didn’t even touch it.. garden burger had sauce missing so I had to put ranch at home. Great burgers, fast and friendly service, and a random flip flop on a shelf as decor. What’s not to love? This might be our new go to burger place in Cumming. The French fries were also surprisingly good. Seriously, give them a try if you’re in the area and craving a burger.

Ordered online, went to the side to pick up…. no one acknowledged me or asked the name on the order so after 5 min of employees walking back and forth I asked the teen at the register if I needed to give my name they said no, it should be right out. Finally a woman came out from the kitchen with my large order, sat it down and left, didn’t say a word to me. I had to ask the teen, if it was my order, as another to go person had arrived so I didn’t want to assume. I thought the woman was rude for not calling out the order number, name or saying anything at all to me…. the food was ok, greasy but expected, fries not even hot, but the location is convenient. I think with an $80 to go tab, a friendly hello or thank you really goes a long way.

Update: we visited again yesterday for lunch and the fries were redeemed! The onion rings are good and the Bear Chicago beef was delish! My husband got the Vickey burger and said it went into his top 5 favorite burgers ever!
We visited over the weekend and loved it! My sister and I split the pimento burger and mushroom Swiss burger. Both were so good! We also got the parm truffle fries. I’m a fry snoot so I will say they were just OK. I’m looking forward to trying the hot honey sage sweet potato fries next time!

This was our first trip to Vickery Burger Bar. Great addition to the Vickery restaurant area. Our smash burgers were delicious!! They were the best smash burgers I’ve had. You can definitely taste the quality of the beef. There are lots of great side options, too. We had the onion rings and Parmesan truffle fries. We’ll be back.

Went there today to pickup dinner for takeout. The staff was very nice and the place was fine for fast casual. The food we found to be sub par. Everything we ordered lacked seasoning ( burger, chicken sandwich tots and fries) the burger was supposed to have sauce on the side however it came slathered in sauce. I understand food does not always travel well but the buns were mushy by the time I drove the 1 mile home. The chicken sandwich was about the size of a largish chicken tender and the bacon was in chips rather than strips.
For two sandwiches, tots and fries, I paid 36 dollars. At this price I expect it to be better than fast food.
