I saw a video about this place and decided to try it. Sooo….here’s my take on it. It’s a nice place but small so depending on what time you get there determines how long the wait may possibly be. We waited about 25 minutes to order and find a table. The menu selection is pretty good. Everything is ala carte. Just a heads up. We tried a couple of different things on the menu and they all turned out pretty good. If you’re in the area and you like biscuits give this place a try.

They did their best to get us through quickly, it was a busy Saturday morning. Once seated we did not wait long for some delicious biscuit goodness. I got the Vicious Biscuit (highly recommend the jalapeño cheddar biscuits) and our table split the Vicious Beignets which was my favorite thing! The drip coffee was great and the butter buffet. Will definitely be going back.

I’m truly ambivalent as I write this review, because Bobby (I believe that was his name, it was pretty loud in the restaurant), the manager, was genuinely kind and sincerely apologetic. I told him I would write an honest review so the restaurant could improve areas of growth, and I’m keeping that promise.

I arrived at Vicious Biscuit on Friday around 11:55 a.m. When you enter, you’re handed a menu and directed to the right to stand in line. I stood in line for approximately 30–35 minutes. The restaurant was packed, but only one register was open. On the closed register was a sign that read: “Register closed. We don’t want to overwhelm our kitchen. See manager on duty for any questions.” My immediate thought was, so instead you overwhelm your customers with long wait times… ok

I ordered a biscuit with a fried egg and cheese, cheesy grits, and an orange juice. I was given a number and then searched for a table. About 35 minutes later, my food arrived, delivered by the manager himself. I joked that I thought my order had been forgotten. He apologized and said, “I hate to admit this, but we ran out of biscuits. I know, I know… a biscuit restaurant running out of biscuits.” We both laughed.

The fresh-squeezed orange juice was truly the highlight of the meal. It tasted like drinking the sweetest orange I’ve ever had, absolutely delectable.

The biscuit itself was buttery but a bit too salty for my taste. The wild berry jam helped mask some of the saltiness. The grits, unfortunately, were also too salty, coarse, and overall uneventful.

Bobby checked on me again and asked how everything was. I raved about the orange juice, but I was honest and said that neither the biscuit nor the juice was worth an hour-plus wait.

I appreciated the kindness, accountability, and customer service, but the long wait times, limited ordering flow, and inconsistent food quality made the experience underwhelming. With some operational adjustments, this place could be much better.

I went there for breakfast on a Tuesday and we had to wait less than 10 minutes to order. After my party of three ordered we got coffee and sat down. While we were waiting on out food we caught sight of the jam and butter bar. Our food arrived in a matter of 5 minutes or so. I ordered the Fat Boy biscuit and it was delicious! They were generous with pimento cheese and the biscuit was great! I also got the side of potatoes and put a bit of honey butter on them. I liked that the coffee was self serve so I could get as much as I wanted. The wait staff was very attentive and quick to remove our empty plates and asking if we needed anything.
Overall it was a very pleasant experience, I liked the vibe of the place, and there are many more items on the menu that I’d like to try. I’ll definitely be back!

So this spot is brand new — like still in its soft-launch phase (official opening is on the 20th), so give them a little grace on wait times (I highly suggest getting there right when they open especially on the weekend.) That said, the service was genuinely excellent. The staff checked in often, kept us updated, and made sure we were taken care of the entire time. Customer service: 10/10.

You order at the counter, get a number, and your food is brought out to you — simple and efficient.

Now the food… also a 10/10. My family and I tried several items and everything hit. You absolutely need to start with the Vicious Beignets — they’re incredible and worth the hype.

I ordered the shrimp & grits, and it was one of the best versions I’ve had. The open-faced biscuit really takes the dish over the top and pulls everything together beautifully.

Overall, this is a place I’ll definitely be returning to.

This place was amazing! I love biscuits! Everyone inside was very friendly. I saw this place on the Fox News this morning. I have a shellfish allergy, so most of the menu I could not eat. But the biscuits were great. Soft and flaky. The jelly bar was amazing. The honey butter was great. If you love biscuits this is the place for you!

Remarkable atmosphere. Staff is beyond courteous. Plain biscuit is great. The other stuff just didn’t hit the spot for me. The beignets were a total let down. The orange juice freshly squeezed was greatly appreciated. Great staff. Chris is a great guy.

The only downside to this place is that it is always slammed. The food pairing and flavors are unique and portions are plentiful.

I have heard of Vicious Biscuit and had to try when it opened. I have always been on the hunt for a great biscuit and sausage gravy, too often they are a bit spicy or hot. These were wonderful! A great southern biscuit and sausage gravy! I started easy and light on my first visit. I also had the beginners and was not disappointed! The atmosphere was wonderful, staff amazing too! I will definitely be back and can’t wait to try all the everything!

I was greeted when I walked in. The restaurant was clean. Everyone was super friendly. I wish they offered a fried green tomato biscuit. I ended up having to make my own biscuit and doing it ala carte was probably more expensive than having it on the menu. The biscuit cut the roof of my mouth. I also wish they offered onions for my potatoes. The jam station was super cool. I was able to try something different.
