Lively atmosphere with great live music. The happy hour menu has solid drink options and generous portions. Service stays attentive even when it’s busy. Perfect spot to relax with good food, good music, and a crowd that’s having fun. We ordered too much food.
We ordered a $50 bottle of wine. Simple enough. The server brought a bottle to the table, opened it, and poured it. At no point did anyone say it was a different bottle, and we had no reason to assume it wasn’t what we ordered. Everything seemed normal—until the bill came.
Instead of $50, we were charged $120 for the wine.
When we questioned it, expecting a simple correction, the situation somehow got worse. The manager came over and, rather than apologizing or taking responsibility, tried to blame us. We were told it was our fault for “not noticing” that the bottle was different. Somehow we were supposed to catch their mistake after they presented, opened, and served the wine? That’s not how hospitality works.
A reputable restaurant owns its errors. It doesn’t gaslight customers and suggest they’re at fault for trusting the staff to bring what was ordered. The complete lack of accountability was far more offensive than the pricing mistake itself.
If this is how they handle a straightforward ordering error, I can’t imagine how they deal with bigger issues. Between the bait-and-switch feel of the wine situation and the manager’s dismissive attitude, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had.
I would strongly recommend dining elsewhere—especially if you plan to order wine. Double-check everything, or better yet, save yourself the frustration and avoid this place altogether.
Our waitress was very polite and did her job happily.
We had bread brought to our table and was ok.
I ordered a pizza with Gorgonzola, Parma ham and rocket and it was very dry and not pleasant.
My husband ordered grilled salmon with lentils, he felt the salmon had been hanging around and not fresh!
The bill arrived and it was $99 dollars, far too much for a below average meal.
I did mention to the waitress that my meal was very dry and she told me she was going to tell the kitchen!
Food was good. We had a margarita pizza, which was good. Orchiette pasta was good. Good portion of the broccoli Rabi and sausage.
The margarita and Moscow mule was simple.
Service was good.
