– I ordered the banana bread chai, it was very sweet but really good! It definitely fits well on their fall menu.
– My friend got a grilled cheese (not pictured) that I thought was delicious with an excellent cheese pull but he thinks Starbucks is better (???)
– Decently priced, large menu
– Cute little shop with clothes, candles, and other interesting items to browse.
– Plenty of seating, pretty cozy
– I would come back!

It’s pretty cold out and I decided to hunker down here because there’s a few pokestops clustered here. Decided to get a Matcha while I hang around and I kid you not it tasted like love, hugs, and warmness. Best matcha I’ve had in a bit

Cute, spacious cafe in the east village. When you walk into the store you are welcomed by fun products (e.g. candles, perfume, books, etc.) that you can purchase. The menu has coffee, energy drinks, food, and dirty soda.

I got the vanilla latte, which tasted standard and to my liking. Also, I thought the price was very good ($5.25 for 16 oz.). Tim got the orange creamsicle which was Basically it was orange soda topped with cold foam. Tasted good unmixed, but when he mixed it, it was like woah. Connor got a grilled cheese and the cheese pull was chef’s kiss. I thought it was v good but he thought it was mid. I guess I should trust the Wisconsin boy.

The vibe seems like a good space to be social but also study/work.

Would I come back? Yes, but probably only on Sundays because I don’t want to pay for parking.

Great coffee shop!
Large areas to eat, sit & get some work done.
They have a great vibe and very cool swag to buy.
The coffee was very good.
I got like a brisket and cheese sandwich and it was rather disappointing.
I’ll definitely be back, but I’ll try something else in the food department- there’s many options to choose from!

Beautiful locally owned coffee spot in the east village. With lots of area for people to sit and enjoy a drink or food item. Staff was welcoming and nice. I ordered a large iced peppermint oat milk mocha and it was divine. It had peppermint crumbled at the top with whipped cream and chocolate drizzle. Pure holiday caffeine perfection. My husband ordered a warm large Turtle mocha latte and he loved it also. My kid even enjoyed the whipped topping goodness of my drink. Only thing I wish they had was more Gluten-free food options for us who can’t consume gluten due to an allergy. Other than that definitely a new favorite coffee spot for me! Highly recommend.

This place has a really cute atmosphere and the sound levels are pretty good if you are coming in to work or just read or something. I got the orange creamsicle dirty soda and the itanlianish sandwich. The drink was pretty good nothing to complain about but the sandwich left a LOT to be desired. I didn’t want tomato on my sandwich but it wouldn’t have helped even if I liked tomatoes as you’ll see in the photo. I could have made 4 of these sandwiches at home for less with more meat for the same price maybe the other menu items are better, this is just my first impression. Very good drink though.

This place is an absolute hidden gem!

Note: They are currently in a “soft launch” and brand new, so for anyone reading this – Their Grand Opening will be in September, so before you review keep in mind there may be some steps along the way for them to ramp up 100% to their Grand Opening!

The space and atmosphere is among the best of all coffee shops I have experienced in the Des Moines area.

Seating:
– Comfortable booth seating
– Large tables for groups
– Bar style seating for individuals
– A cozy space with couch and chairs
– Outdoor seating

Excellent menu with a wide variety of items. Above and beyond customer service. Looks like room for 50+ people indoor/outdoor, and a downstairs area yet to be revealed.

The lighting is perfect: some dim/moody areas as well as some vibrant lit areas.

This will be my go-to coffee shop moving forward!

Drip coffee was good! Matcha latté was delicious! Decent food options! I especially love their soup flight for those indecisive days. Their crêpe cake is also perfect for something lightly sweet. Lots of seating! The staff is always great! I’ve used to go to the Bettendorf, Iowa location when I worked in the Quad Cities and this place is on-par. It’s got a dark, sultry, but chill and intelligent vibe. I mean, what more can you ask for?

New coffee shop still figuring out their kitchen but over a good experience and we will be back. Very cute decor, nice tables, even their simple chair were cute, no boring standard dining plastic chairs here! I cannot stress enough how amazing their tiramisu was, HUGE as well ($7 or so, so solid). I also got a breakfast sandwich that was just so so, standard sausage, egg (didn’t seem fresh, maybe a frozen patty which doesn’t bother me much but I like the option for a runny yolk etc) english muffin, probably wouldn’t get it again. Partner got a bagel and cream cheese, they only have plain bagels (odd) and the cream cheese was just two small things of Philadelphia cream cheese. If it were just a coffee shop I’d not think much of it but for name also being “kitchen” there was room for improvement. The fruit as a side was strawberries and grapes so that was great with me too! The Americano and basic drip coffee were good, no complaints.

Really good food, the Breakfast Club sandwich is my go-to and I can get a whole meal for $10-$15. Such a great spot to start the day!
