I have a very biased review here. I have been eating this particular Sicilian pie since they have opened in 1973! I am 54 years old and sadly have moved half way across the country 15 years ago. I have made many Sicilian pies at home to try to duplicate this perfection over the years. I have never achieved this level of pizza. I return every chance I get through the years and have followed rhem to different locations. This family just does it exceptionally well! I have never had a Sicilian pie from any shop with this texture and dough quality. Sure, cheese and toppings are to suit your tastes but the foundation is truly perfect. A master pie made by family masters. Yes, their other pies are excellent and Stromboli and sandwiches. The consistency is unparalleled in my experience. Best, isnt a good enough description. PERFECT.
PS. The greatest service I was never expecting. The owner offered to wrap up 2 fresh Sicilian pies in convenient saran wrap and box them up. Throw them in their deep freezer a couple days ahead and make them ready to travel. They asked for nothing extra! This was a lot of work for someone and I am truly grateful for this. I got home and a week later had a craving so I grabbed a couple slices out of the freezer and my pizza stone. I put them into a hot 350 degree oven for 15 minutes and I was amazed. The quality is still perfect. Thank you, thank you and please never stop making this pie. God bless your family and business.

Service was great. Ashley took good care of us. I had the meatball parm sandwich it was delicious. Pizza and fries for the kids. Crust was really good. Love a good crust. Free refills on the bevs. Great family atmosphere AND they serve beer.

We have been loyal customers for a long time, but the quality of service and food has noticeably declined. Recent orders have consistently had issues—either taking far too long for something as simple as a pizza or arriving with the wrong toppings.
Tonight was particularly disappointing. We ordered two pizzas through Slice, spending $70 (including delivery and a 15% tip) for a delivery just 1.2 miles away. Yet it still took over an hour to arrive on a Monday night. For that price, I expect much better.
The veggie pizza was a disaster. Clumps of minced garlic were carelessly thrown on, as shown in the attached image. It was obviously jarred garlic, and every slice was coated with this mess. I’ve never seen pizza topped like that—it was revolting.
The half plain, half onion pizza was burnt (see attached picture). It’s shocking that this was considered acceptable to send out. Most places would never let a pie like that leave the kitchen.
Frankly, this is unacceptable, and I’m extremely unhappy with the decline in quality.

Just picked up kids spaghetti with meatballs then ordered waterice on the side. Omg spaghetti and sauce was poppin. Tasted flavor through out entire dish, but the meatballs were alright. They were a last minute add.

Look, the pizza isn’t bad, ok? It’s fine. It’s the same pizza you get at any other suburban strip mall pizza place. What distinguishes these folks is having draft beer on tap, which in turns makes the mid pizza that much more palatable.

Last night I had the pleasure of dining at La Veneto Pizza … this restaurant was fabulous … my bestie and I ordered Calzone & Stromboli … I have not had a Stromboli in a very long minute … Zuri was our server and her attention and conversational abilities are exceptional … I would go back here just to have her as a server … the food was very delicious and filling … we had lots of leftovers to bring home … there is really not much else to say … go experience Italian Food prepared the right was … I give this restaurant 5 stars … LIVE LOVE LAUGH & EAT …

I had a very disappointing experience here today. I was standing in line waiting to be served when a staff member looked me directly in the eye, ignored me, and then immediately greeted and started the order of a white customer who had just walked in behind me. To make matters worse, there were about seven other employees standing around laughing and doing nothing instead of helping customers. I felt completely mistreated and unwelcome, so I walked out. I won’t be coming back.

Today Sunday, September 21 around like 4 or 5 me and my group of friends went to go eat at Via Veneto Pizza place. Once we got there we were met with one of the best and prettiest waitresses that I’ve probably ever met. The food was good but her service was even better. So whoever is reading this please show this to her and give her a raise because she was probably the best waitress and one of the most beautiful waitress I’ve ever seen. Please tell her I had a crush on her too haha
