Our server was incredible- extremely knowledgeable about the menu, answered all of our questions, and made great recommendations, including wine pairings that were spot on.
The food is on the pricier side, but I expected that going in, and the quality completely justified it. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. The specialty cocktails were also very good, and the tiramisu truly lived up to the hype. I’d go back just for that alone.
We ordered multiple pasta dishes and shared around the table, and every single one was excellent.
This is an ideal spot for a date night or a special dinner with great food and drinks.
Reservations are definitely needed, valet parking is free (which helps since parking in the area can be tough), and the staff really makes the experience memorable.
I’ll make it a point to come back every time I’m in Dallas- wish I could try everything on the menu.
Reservations are required.
The restaurant also has a rooftop that’s perfect for drinks and dessert.
From the moment you walk in, it feels warm, elevated, and intentional. It is the kind of restaurant that makes you relax instantly and trust that you are about to have a great meal.
The food is consistently exceptional. Every dish feels thoughtful and perfectly balanced.
What truly sets Via Triozzi apart is the people. We absolutely adore the staff and the owner. They are welcoming, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. You feel known, appreciated, and taken care of every single visit.
Via Triozzi never misses, and we cannot recommend it enough.
5 out of 5 stars for both their dinner and brunch menu.
11/10. We got the lasagna, branzino, whipped ricotta and arancini. We also got the tiramasu and our server offered us the deconstructed cannot as well, which was very kind.
Fantastically awesome spot for any occasion.
So much has been said about how this is the most authentic Italian fine dining experience in Dallas that I don’t need to reiterate. This review is about BRUNCH!
The wicked talented chef de cuisine here, Sonia, has been eager to offer a brunch service, and although brunch isn’t a traditional Italian thing, they’ve finally started opening for Sunday brunch. And, boy, is it amazing!
Since most people don’t know they are doing brunch yet, I was able to get a table of TEN last week, and that allowed us to try pretty much the entire menu.
The spicy bloody Mary was exceptional, and they have lots to please on the cocktail menu, from a truly proper Bellini to some creative spirit-foreward offerings that impressed my hard-to-please bar snobs from Houston.
Standouts on the savory menu were the butternut squash ravioli, the sausage (from Jimmy’s) hash, the pepperoni scramble (from chef-owner Leigh’s Grandma), but especially the mortadella panini, which was absolutely exquisite. (This is one of my favorite staples to order in Sicily, and this version surpassed anything I’ve had there over the years. Very impressive.) The Montasio Frico (sort of like a cross between a latke and a hash brown) was an indulgent starter, and the sausage and lentil soup was so fulfilling on a chilly morning.
For sweets, the star of the show is the pistachio toast…a slab of sweet, airy challah from Empire, stuffed with housemade pistachio cream (think of it like Nutella but with pistachios and white chocolate) and sort of French toasted. Y’all… Do not die before you’ve tried this. It’s out of this world.
The cinnamon focaccia and the zeppole (like Italian donut holes) were exceptional, also, but after one taste of the pistachio toast, you might not want to ever eat anything else for brunch.
This is a welcome spot that diversifies the endless offerings we have for brunch in Dallas. Upscale enough to please the fussiest Highland Park diners, authentic enough to please the genuine Florentines, but approachable enough that ANYONE strolling lower Greenville will want to add it to their default brunch rotation.
Very, very impressed. And now it’s time for me to book a rezzie to take more people for that mortadella panini and pistachio toast!!
