For starters, my favorites are the meatballs and the Frittura Napoletana. As for the main course, my two go-to pizzas are the Prosciutto e Rucola and the Boscaiola. To pair with the meal, I really enjoy their sparkling red wine, Lambrusco, which it complements the food perfectly, especially the cannoli.
On top of that, they consistently provide excellent service, especially in the way they connect with their customers.
There’s a wonderful selection of wines, and I always have a Vecchia Romagna brandy when I’m there, my late father’s fave. Salute. The decor is super cute, the atmosphere is electric, and there’s even a little outdoor area that’s lovely, both out front and out back.
The takeout window is an excellent option if they’re packed, which they usually are, and that’s ok. They’re still faster than lightning while never sacrificing quality, so the wait is short regardless.
Grazie Via Tevere, mi piace MOLTO!
Home made and freshly made after you order the food!
We were lucky to sit right in front of the wood fire oven so watching all pizza got cooked and flipped were so much fun!
Didn’t find the alcohol there too appealing but pizza and pasta is definitely worth going!
Been there another 2 times after that! Loving it!
Will definitely take family and friends when they come visit Vancouver!!!
We tried the Prosciutto &Fungi and Tricolore pizzas, my girlfriend had a glass of beer and I ordered the Vermentino wine. We were there early in the afternoon at 5pm, so no wait.
Everything is so yummy and perfect! Our waitress was so excellent and helpful with our order.
Definitely recommend.
This isn’t your trendy, truffle-oiled, gold-flaked gimmicky spot. This is Vera Pizza Napoletana—certified. This is pizza with rules to follow. Wood-fired, and beautifully simple.
The Capricciosa is a must. Think teenage room explosion and you might understand the statement this pizza makes. It’s dirty, messy… BUT the symphony of artichokes, prosciutto cotto, mushrooms, and olives… oh yes —each bite a love letter to southern Italy.
And let’s not forget that crust! That perfect charred and spotted chew tells you that the pizzaiolo is a master of his craft. Respect!
The vibe? Laid back, no pretense. You can sip a red under the string lights on the patio or tuck into a corner inside and disappear for a while.
This isn’t fast food. This is food worth slowing down for. If you’re after the kind of pizza that makes you forget about the “latest” food trends and just be—Via Tevere’s your spot.
CHEERS!!!
