Cute place. Service left a lot to be desired as the waitress threw our food on the table and barely spoke. The food was pretty good but I’m not sure I’ll go back.

I remember this diner from when I was a kid in Massena in the 70s. Stopped here for dinner on a recent North Country visit. Yep, the inside hasn’t changed much, but that is part of the charm. Service was excellent. Food was good, promptly served, and reasonably priced. I would say the waitresses are “mature”. For those who report grumpy servers in their reviews, maybe try to be a bit more friendly yourself when dealing with these hard working people. Free parking.

Love this little quaint restaurant! Mary-Jo is a wonderful waitress who always makes our day when we laugh and joke with her. My boyfriend and I actually travel from the Montreal area to Massena to stop in first at Via Main to eat and then go on to other stops (check out the Robert Moses State Park about 10-15 minutes away…it’s a gem!).

They amount of food for the price alone was great. Food was really good, well cooked and I didn’t even have to add salt cause it is well flavored. Only thing I didn’t like was the butter on the toast. Great experience. My server was so so nice and the food came out quick. Awesome.

Highly recommend! Staff and food were amazing. The western omelette is really delicious. The toast is butter and flaky. On point in my opinion. The omelette was phenomenal. I really enjoyed eating here. However, I did feel a bit rushed in this restaurant.
