Stopped there for a quick breakfast. Didn’t know they were serving fritata and it was the best fritata I’ve ever had. It looked amazing and tasted even better. The server was super nice and helpful and honest. He was upfront about what’s fresh and what’s not. Great experience. Highly recommended

We wandered in one afternoon with barely any time for lunch and ordered a grilled chicken panini, a garden salad, and a frappe. Turns out, the whole place is run by one guy — taking orders, cooking, making drinks, cracking jokes, chatting with everyone. Total one-man show, and a pretty charming one at that. We were in a bit of a rush, but somehow he got everything out super fast. And honestly, everything tasted so fresh it felt like he made it just for us.

Alex was so great and had delicious recommendations for us. We tried everything he offered and we were not disappointed! While sitting, we could tell he had a wonderful following of people who would come in for a quick pastry and coffee and chat with Alex for a second. Loved it! Thanks so much!

Absolutely loved this café! The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming, and you can truly feel the care and passion as he prepares the food right in front of you. This was honestly the best avocado toast I’ve ever had in my life — fresh, perfectly balanced, and made with so much attention to detail.
The coffee was delicious and beautifully made as well. My husband ordered the salmon toast and a salad — both were finger-licking good!
A special highlight is that the menu also includes Ukrainian dishes, which made this place feel even more special and close to home ❤️
I highly recommend this café to everyone visiting Portland, and especially to Ukrainians — this place is a must-visit!

What a great little cafe! Owner, Alex, goes above and beyond in service and barista expertise! All the extra little touches are not missed. Recommend the hand crafted made to order frittata and any of the cafe drink offerings.

Delicious coffee and avocado toast! The server is the kindest and most welcoming person I’ve come across in Portland. He helped me pick a drink and a food option–and was honest when he said a chocolate croissant would be too much for me to finish! He served my drink in a wine glass, so you can “see the layers” of the foam. You watch him hand prep everything, and it’s all delicious. You can tell he takes pride in providing excellent service, food, and interaction. I would definitely go here again if in town!

Via Delizia is exactly the kind of place you hope to stumble upon but rarely do — cozy, welcoming, and absolutely delicious. From the moment we stepped in, the staff made us feel like regulars. The atmosphere is warm and intimate, perfect for a quiet coffee or a light lunch
It’s clear this place cares about quality and community. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick treat or settling in for a relaxed chat, Via Delizia feels like a little slice of Europe tucked away on Broadway.
The caprese panini was absolutely delicious

I like this place. It can slow you down, give you tasty, light food. Soup, toasts, vareniki.
Finally I found a place where I’m going to have breakfasts when I’m in Portland.
The jentleman behind the counter is nice and interesting to talk with.
