The tiramisu at Via Cassia in Hudson, NY is absolutely exceptional — hands down one of the best I’ve ever had. It’s perfectly balanced: rich and creamy mascarpone layered with delicate, espresso-soaked ladyfingers that melt in your mouth without being soggy. The dusting of cocoa on top adds just the right touch of bitterness to complement the sweetness. Every bite feels light yet indulgent, with that authentic Italian flavor that’s hard to find outside of Italy.

I personally love when I enter in a restaurant and I immediately feel like I am somewhere else!
Via Cassia is one of those places.
Just by opening the door, it feels like you are in Italy, in an authentic Italian Trattoria!
Pleasant Italian music in the background, nice personnel and the chef, Gaetano Ardone, who comes to your table to greet you and to chat with you.
I highly recommend this restaurant!
Being Italian, I always look for good food that reminds me home.
Everything was excellent and the wine selection is thoughtfully curated with great attention.
The amatriciana was just perfect!!!
Thank you, Gaetano!
I will be back for more soon!

This was the best dinner we’ve had in Hudson. They have amazing Gluten free pasta shipped in from Italy…. And it was amazing. Plus, the service is unmatched … JESSICA WAS THE BEST! I love Jessica to the moon and back.

If I can only recommend one local restaurant, this is the one I rave about. If you know good food, you will absolutely LOVE Via Cassia! The warm atmosphere immediately conveys what the delicious meal will eventually communicate in spades; that there are owners and a team of employees feverishly working to make sure every detail of your experience is the best it can be. But please hear me, this place is NOT pretentious. The food is both world-class and relatable. It is mind-blowing and comforting. If you are anywhere near Hudson, NY please do NOT miss your chance to dine in the best Italian restaurant in the County if not all of Upstate NY!

Phenomenal experience!!! The food is so delicious. The dressing on the kale salad is incredible and the pasta, meats, and cheese taste fresh out of Italy. We wish we had this place where we live!! We will definitely be back and usually don’t go to places more than once. Really fantastic and the owners couldn’t be more friendly and warm!!!!

The patio is beautiful place to sit. Not sure if they were understaffed but seemed a lot of people pull double duty and service felt a bit rushed in my interactions with staff, while the actual service took a bit longer than I’m used to. Not a problem though as I was forcing myself to slow down that night anyway. The food was DELICIOUS and well worth every penny. Goodness that pasta makes me sad I’m not local to eat there again. Seasonal cheesecake was a wonderful change of pace from tiramisu. My only regret was going with a red wine instead of white to really tie the experience together.

First visit was very impressive. The ambience and service were excellent. We ate dinner at the bar; Porchetta Tonatto, Lumache and Grilled Quail. The cocktails and wines were spot on and the food was superb. The texture of the lumache (made in house) was unlike any pasta that most Americans have experienced. A lovely bonus was tender/crisp focaccia served with olive oil pressed only a few weeks ago. Credit to Stephanie the bartender for recommending it and to the Chef who was very cordial. Though the menu is not extensive I still recommend you try it 100%. We will return
