Not good value for money
We met friends at this restaurant, which looked nice. It was a bit crammed for my liking but I understand that they need to make the best out of the available space. The dishes looked nice, small, but nice, and taste okay. Not great, not good, just okay. In my opinion this restaurant is too expensive for its quality. Finally, the wine list was way too expensive. We had much better for far less. I would not recommend this restaurant.

The food was delicious, the service was super nice and helpful. We were in the restaurant with a group of around 15 people. The food came, as one would always expect, all at once, warm and tasty. From price perspective it’s a rather upper class place, but it’s totally worth it, becuase it’s not just a regular italian food. My parpadelle with spinach and cashews was extremely satisfying, I wish I had space for some tiramisu, because it must be delicious.

Disrespectful Service – Will Not Return!!!
I’ve been to this restaurant many times before and have never had a problem until now. When I arrived, an older waitress immediately snapped at me, saying, “This is not a coffee bar, this is a restaurant for eating.”
Excuse me? I know perfectly well this is a restaurant—I’m not blind. I had no intention of sitting for hours with just a drink. Her rude and condescending attitude was completely uncalled for. I’ve never been treated like this here before, and frankly, I was shocked.
I decided to leave right away and take my business somewhere I’m treated with the basic respect every customer deserves. Safe to say, I won’t be returning.

When I arrived, I intended to quickly use the restroom before going to sit on the terrace. However, a staff member told me that I was not allowed to go to the toilet without asking for permission. They raised their voice at me in a rude and unfriendly manner. As I was leaving, the staff member additionally remarked that “in Germany, we first ask if we can go to the toilet,” which I found highly inappropriate and disrespectful.
I believe every guest should be treated with courtesy and understanding, especially regarding basic human needs. I kindly ask you to address this behavior internally to ensure a more welcoming atmosphere for future guests.

Having been disappointed many times in Germany when it comes to quality restaurants, it was a breath of fresh air to visit visit Via Bene the other day for lunch. So good was the food, the wine, and the service, that I had to go again tonight, and have booked a table for 6 for next week.
Don’t everybody try it at once – I want to still have a table for me next time!

An amazing Italian restaurant the dishes are delicious, it is located in a nice quiet side street. We sat outside had some wine and got the bruschetta as appetizer then tried the carbonara which was so creamy and the pancetta inside was really good. Also had a dessert some Panna Cotta which was very tasty.
If you haven’t tried this restaurant you’re missing.
