I love it here. The ladies weren’t that friendly or unfriendly when I first began going there but I notice that about a lot of Hispanic restaurants.

Excellent food makes up for everything the shrimp Alfredo was phenomenal and the pepper onion steak wow even the arroz con gandules was good. Service they locked us in and didn’t open till someone else left! we matter too! don’t make people wait because of whatever respect your customers! Atmosphere I put 4 cuz it was cozy but kept getting cold from the constant door opening so had to move. Excellent food tho. Overall waaay better than casuelas

I’ve been coming here for many years! Unfortunately in recent years the service has declined tremendously. The servers attitudes are horrible. No customer service whatsoever. I came to dine in with my husband. They served everything in to go containers even though we were sitting right inside. They wouldn’t bring silverware, cups, ice or napkins. I had to get up to keep asking for basic things. When asking they seemed annoyed with everything. I won’t bother coming back.

Aside from the fact that they screwed up tonight giving me a cake I’m allergic to putting me in the hospital after the waiter repeated me “carrot cake”, their food is good for the most part you just have to pay attention to the deals and what their giving you/ size so they don’t scam. I rode my bike her and got home to find out I got the cake I’m allergic to hours later.

I love the boneless chicken and white rice with bean sauce and my girl teriyaki chicken with rice and beans con plátanos maduros y dos piña coladas. 2 or 3 of the girls know exactly what we want when we come in I am a regular and I appreciate them for taking care of us the way they do I did have a situation with one of the other girls once but thats to much for me to write down at the moment and that’s the only reason why I’m not giving service a 5 star rating

This is one of my favorite places to get my Caribbean cravings quenched. They have so many choices, and the food is consistently replenished due to the crowd ratio in and out. When I go there for lunch, I sometimes see remnants of breakfast put to the side. ( I think they serve breakfast)

Also, go with someone that speaks Spanish, because the women I noticed fill your plate according to whether or not you can communicate with them in Spanish. My Spanish is somewhat limited, but I know how to tell them what I want in Spanish and it’s usually the same thing Every time unless I’m getting food for the family. I bought small container of fried chicken, small soup, and small ( 1cup) rice $15.00. I also noticed that the women at the register that take your money are very rude with no personality. But, I don’t really care anymore, I guess they don’t need large tips, because I will tip the minimum, but if you go a little bit out of your way to be nice . 20%.

New year’s eve , I was charged $40 for 1 piece of fish that was very salty , 2 small pieces of pork chopped up that were very dry and chewy .and a small tin tray of steak and rice . I was very disappointed as I got all the way home to eat , and had to naw thru half of it. Do better !.

I had a terrible experience here. I walked in with my service animal and instead of being treated with respect, I was asked to leave. Even after I explained that it was a service animal, the manager refused to listen and told me to get off the premises.
No customer should ever be treated this way. What happened was not only embarrassing but also completely unprofessional. I will not be returning, and I hope the owners take steps to train their staff so no one else has to go through this.
