VIA 313 – Genuine Detroit Style Pizza
Baked in a heavy pan similar to the auto parts trays found in Detroit in the 1940’s, the light, focaccia-like dough develops a golden crunch on the bottom. On …

First time getting VIA 313 in Dripping Springs and it was delicious as always! I believe it was one person working and she was so kind even while balancing many orders. I highly recommend coming to Mercer Street Taproom and ordering pizza to enjoy inside.

I have always loved Via313, but this time, it was not as great as the dough seemed dry. I ordered for delivery at the food truck near Mercer’s, and maybe the options of the crust are limited, so I didn’t get the usual pizza style I liked. They only had the Detroit style, and the sizes are small for the price (in my opinion)
I think it’s just better to have it there and get it from the Oak Hill location only because of the variety available.

We stopped by the Via 313 food truck on Rainey Street because we’d heard about their happy hour — but heads up: this location only serves pizza, with no food or drink specials. That said, you can take your pizza inside Lustre Pearl Rainey and enjoy it with drinks from their bar. The outdoor seating area there has a fun, relaxed vibe.
We ordered The Detroiter, a square pizza with crispy crust and smoked pepperoni – absolutely delicious. It reminded me of Pizza Hut years ago, back when it was good. The pan-style crust was perfectly crisped on the edges.
The pizzas are on the smaller side – perfect for one hungry person, but definitely not enough to split unless you’re having other food with it. Prices felt a bit high given the size, and it did take a little while for the pizza to come out. Still, the flavor made it worthwhile. If you’re craving pizza in the Rainey Street area, check out this place.

The first time I had Via 313 was in Rainey street 5 years back, and I had at their Oak Hill location last year. I was so excited to find their food truck now in dripping springs. The location is convenient, next to Mercer st. Nice place for kids to play while we wait for food and drinks.
I got my usual veggie pizza. The pizza tasted the same as before. With its crispy edges and stretchy cheese, it was delicious loaded with veggies.

Amazing Detroit style pizza! It’s absolutely worth the wait. Also, don’t worry about the size – that little pie is more than enough. It’ll fills you up.
Also, the guy serving us was super nice and friendly. Very upfront and honest. He suggested me not to but the drink because it is overpriced and could get the same from the groceries store close by.
Last thing: it’s very hard to find parking around Rainey street, and the one on the end is very expensive – rates start from $18.00 for the first hour. So I’d suggest order it online and have a person pick it up while someone else drives around. Otherwise, just pick it up from other locations available in town. Definitely order ahead to skip the 15 plus minutes of wait.
Super recommended!

Good food truck location tucked away inside a bar so make sure you don’t miss it, and are prepared for the potential of loud music and drunken dining companions. We didn’t expect the loud music but the DJ was really good so we weren’t upset. Also got a drink at the bar while we waited and it was well prepared by a friendly and professional bartender. Detroit style pizza and some good specials. We got the dill pie and the original pepperoni. The dill was exceptional and the pepperoni was good but not amazing.

I have visited this truck twice and on both occasions the pizza was awesome! It truly is a deep dish pizza with a well cooked base and a crispy edge. The sauce is flavoursome and the cheese is delicious. Both pizza’s were the Herbivore – olive + jalapeños and clearly their food is consistent.
The staff are friendly and the prices are just right.
Thank you

Detroit style pizza on Rainey! It can be a wait if they’re busy but it’s the best pizza in the area.
Reasonably priced for what you get and good selection of Pizzas to choose from.
Definitely worth checking out.

Worst experience one can have. The price goes up and the pizza gets worse (and it’s basically thin crust now). Love the face tat and the request for a 25% tip for the pizzas I ordered at a window and had to pick up myself. Unreal. What a fall from grace, Via!

Detroit style pizza. Had the omnivore, which was sausage, peperoni, green pepper, onion, and mushrooms. Pizza was good, sausage had a little spice to it, and the crust had a crunch to it. Service was quick. Pizza took about 20 minutes from ordering to being done. It was a Tuesday night and not busy. Had a beer at the bar connected while I waited. Seating outside was a nice place to wait and eat.
