Via 313 serves up a seriously delicious gluten-free Detroit-style pizza. I had the prosciutto and pineapple, and it was outstanding — the crust was incredibly buttery with that perfect crunch around the edges that makes Detroit-style pizza so special. You honestly wouldn’t feel like you’re missing out going gluten-free here.

The setup is casual — you order at the window or online. I placed my order on my phone, but didn’t receive an alert when it was ready, which was a little inconvenient (especially on a rainy Saturday night). It was surprisingly slow and not very busy, so that stood out a bit.

They also couldn’t guarantee against cross-contamination, so that’s something to keep in mind if you have a severe allergy.

Overall though, the pizza was absolutely worth it and I would definitely visit again.

I’m new to the area and walk by this pizza place all the time. It’s always busy and smells so good, so I finally tried it and OMG, it was delicious. I ordered the four-slice with a garden salad and side of ranch and have never tasted pizza like this before. It was thick with crunchy cheese on the side and the perfect amount of toppings. I can’t wait to have it again! Definitely a must-try!

If pizza had a love language, mine would now be fluent in Herbivore deep dish.
At 313 Via Austin, that pie arrives like a golden skyscraper of comfort. Thick, buttery crust with that perfect crisp edge, stacked with vibrant veggies that taste like they RSVP’d straight from the garden. Every bite is hearty without being heavy, bold without trying too hard.
And let’s talk about Josh He was incredibly helpful, friendly, and on top of everything. The kind of service that makes you feel less like a customer and more like a regular. Recommendations? Spot on. Vibes? Immaculate. If you’re craving deep dish that hugs you from the inside out, 313 Via Austin is serving edible architecture with a side of hospitality. I’ll be back for round two. ✨

In a world, where every city seems to have a style of pizza, we decided to see what Detroit’s was all about. Via 313 is a Detroit style pizza place located in Austin (not sure how that happened). We went to the location on West 6th Street after a tiring day of kayaking on Lady Bird Lake searching for some sweet, doughy bliss and here’s what happened…

We sat at the outdoor area, which was great as we had a dog that wanted to enjoy some time with us. At this location we placed our order through the window and this is where the first of two issues occurred. One of us asked the guy at the window a very simple question, “Is your sausage spicy?” And he responded “Uhh I don’t know, I guess?”… nice to know we’re solving quantum physics at this location. After ordering 4 slices that cost $15 (sheesh), we were informed that we would receive a text when our order was ready. After waiting 25 minutes for our 4 slices we had still not received any text. When we went up to the window to find out what happened to our pizzas they had them ready to go sitting on the top of the stove. It was pretty clear that the pizza’s had just been sitting there for a few minutes with no text update and we had to go up to get make sure we got our food.

The food itself was pretty good, the pizza light and crunchy with a delicious sauce over it. One of the staff also brought our dog a water bowl with some ice and was very friendly with us as well. Unfortunately that one staffer and good pizza couldn’t make up for the laziness of the kitchen staff and convoluted text system they use to notify patrons. This is definitely an operation that could use some better logistics and things would be a bit brighter, until then I think our rating sums up what you get from this Via 313 from a food, service, and value standpoint.

Ordered on website and they used uber. Pizza was cold. Called and they offered to cook a new pizza and threw in an extra cinnamon sticks. INCREDIBLE. My wife is gluten free and zero questions, best gluten free pizza out there. Don’t let Uber ruin the experience. Get there and eat some damn good GF pizza. Thank you for the fresh pie we HOUSED it.

This Detroit style pizza was very interesting. It certainly hit the spot from a carbs perspective, but I didn’t realize that there’s little to know pizza sauce in a dish Detroit style pie. That being said, I really did enjoy the pizza and the service was fast, they had the pizza is ready at the promised pick up time. If you’re an adventurous eater, I want to try something unique and tasty. I recommend the Cadillac pizza.

Via 313 never misses. My wife and I went in and had an awesome experience! Friendly, dialed-in staff and pizza that absolutely delivered. Crispy crust, bold flavors, and everything came out hot and fresh. Easily one of our go-to spots now.

Ordered togo. Quick for perfectly cooked pizza. Got the ambassador and would again! The hot honey is a must. Caesar dressing is bomb. I added tomatoes and olives cause I’m like that. Get a large everything cause it’s that good. I usually only eat one or two slices of pizza but I ate an entire small to myself. (4 pieces – I’m a small chick). I was full. But leftovers would’ve been rad!!!

This pizza place is okay, but the setup is kind of odd. It’s cool that it’s right next to a bar, but the entire ordering process is a pain—you have to scan a QR code to order, which I personally can’t stand. The quality of the pizza is decent, and it’s probably a good fit for someone looking to grab some ‘za while having a few drinks at the attached bar. This isn’t something I would go out of my way for at all but sufficient if you are already there having some drinks.
