This is where you should come if you need a rental space for a private group/ event. We rented the hall for a baby shower. The space was ideal for our needs. It was intimate and cozy. We had about 50 people and it was perfect. I didn’t want the big ballroom feel and I’m so happy we chose this venue. The staff here was so accommodating and helpful. I stopped in several times in the past couple of months to see the space so I could plan and every time, whichever bartender was on, was so helpful. We were offered ice during the party and could have even set up the night before. We had use of 2 refrigerators, a full kitchen and 2 in room bathrooms for our guests. We had a separate entrance to the room from outside. The bar at one end of the room was helpful and the only restrictions were no confetti and no tape on the walls. I was skeptical about booking because there weren’t any pictures of the space online and no reviews. So, now, I had to leave one and some pictures so that others will rent this affordable space.

Bartender refused to serve me because I didn’t have a membership. I asked him can someone else buy me a drink and he said no. I said so you’re saying that every single person in here has to have their own individual membership no one can bring in a guest and buy them a drink. He said Yes every person has to have their own membership.
As I was walking out I asked someone who was entering who is a member if he was able to bring any guest and buy that person a drink.
He said yes of course you can bring in a guest you just have to sign them in and you can buy them anything you want to once you’re inside.
So obviously the issue is ME.
I’m an African American female the bar was full of white people.
There was really no reason for the bartender to lie and say that every person has to have an individual membership. In addition the whole bar heard the exchange and not one of the 10 people offered to intercede on my behalf.

My friends are frequent visitors . It was my birthday and I live down the street . I had a lot of fun , the drinks were strong and the bartender was really funny . I really enjoyed my birthday ! Thanks Liz and Meg❤️
