For my first experience coming to this place I had stopped because their was a man on the side of a road waving a brat fry sign ,the first hint that summer is here ! We had good parking and the atmosphere and layout of the building was easy to navigate and had cool history all over the walls . They took cash and card and the smell was heavenly. The food was so good we had a brat and a burger … And hours later we had A DOUBLE BRAT AND A DOUBLE BURGER . The staff / volunteers were not only kind but also fast helpful and professional. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to connect to that community or just have great eats .

Went in the first time tonight with 2 regulars.. best fish fry I’ve had!! The German potato salad was great. Kessler Cokes were a bit too strong.. but the food made up for it! Just wish it was open for us 2nd shifters more!

The perch dinner was good, though the breading was prepared a head of time the fish was not fresh but frozen. You can tell the difference. The German potato salad was good but not a perfect balance of ingredients. The price was about $4 high. Service was good. You did not have to wait long. The atmosphere was not pleasurable. Florescent lights are not good to eat by.

Even though it was packed for Friday fish fry, I was still sat right away. The bluegill was very good. The German potato salad was the best I’ve ever had. The coleslaw wasn’t very good.
The staff is very friendly, the place is clean, the beer is cold. Sort of has a “german bierhall” feel to it.

They have a GREAT fish fry every Friday night. Choices include perch, blue gills, haddock (?cod?) and a weekly special (most recently catfish.) Besides the fish, they have side dishes, including home made German potato salad, cole slaw, fries, mashed potatoes and soup. Desert choices include tortes, cake, and pie. You can also get beer, wine, cocktails and soft drinks. Service is quick and friendly. Seating is at long tables. Every time I’ve been there I’ve had nice discussions with the other people at my table.
