Veya is a beautiful restaurant. The parking lot was a little tight, but we were able to squeeze into a space. We had a reservation and were seated right away. Our server Maddux was lovely and attentive. We started with the Crudo and Watermelon Salad. I would order both dishes over and over! The Crudo was a unique preparation as it was in a creamier sauce than we’ve had, but it was delicious. For our mains, we opted for dishes from the land as we had eaten fish every day since we arrived. The flat iron steak was cooked perfectly medium rare and had a fantastic chimichurri sauce (not pictured). It was perfect. The chicken entree fell short as it was over-cooked and a very small portion, but the sauce was yummy. The two pieces of asparagus was a joke. We did get the privilege of hearing a wonderful singer (I forget her name), who sang throughout our dinner. That was a great addition to our night. Highly recommend.

We had a nice quiet dinner, great food, and felt we were in the forest. One of the few restaurants on the island we would come back to for another family dinner.

Veya is truly NEVER bad. We’ve been here countless times over the years and it is just as good every time. Very consistent flavors and combinations you wouldn’t think would be amazing together but are!! The chef is an artist really. The best staff and atmosphere as well. Music in the lower level some days in the week too. Definitely make a reservation prior.

Favorite dishes: beet salad appetizer, the duck entree, broccoli appetizer, octopus appetizer, the lamb entree

A truly exceptional and extremely high caliber restaurant. Absolutely incredible from start to finish. As somebody who’s dined in 1-3 Michelin star restaurants all over the world, I was blown away. We ordered half the menu because everything looked so good and we couldn’t decide. Intricate and delicious flavors, perfect cooked and prepared dishes, and truly impeccable service. Excellent wine menu to boot. Veya is the best fine-dining establishment on the island. I cannot look forward to my return trip soon enough.

We’ve had some great meals on the island but this one stands alone. 10/10 no notes. Lobster in passion fruit mustard sauce was unbelievable. Should be on every list for Anguilla restaurants to try

First time visiting Veya and we’ve decided this is our favorite restaurant on the island. Beautifully situated in a lush tropical paradise with intimate dining experience. Grilled lobster perhaps as good as any we’ve ever enjoyed! Staff is so sweet and friendly. Great cocktails and wine options. We cannot wait to return!

Hands down, one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. The food literally smacked me back into my seat at first bite to reflect at the pure magic the chef has created with their flavor profiles. The service was impeccable. The atmosphere, stunning. Our kids devoured their steak and fries in record time too. It was the perfect meal for our last night in Anguilla.

Very disappointing. We have gone to Veya multiple times on our many visits to Anguilla and it was always a lovely experience. This time the service was confused and couldn’t get orders right. The food was at best average and the portions were tiny. In addition, they had advertised music, but they didn’t have any. This was a minor point because the rest of the evening was disappointing because of the combination of poor service and average food. To top things off one of our party got food poisoning. The setting is still lovely. Unfortunately, it doesn’t make up for the rest of it. I don’t think we will be coming back.

Had dinner here tonight and we were blown away!! The service was amazing and the food was out of this world. We have travelled all over and eating everything from the beach to michelin star restaurants and this was definitely top 5 meal for us! Every bite was an explosion of flavour! Thank you for such an amazing experience!!

This place is an absolute MUST dine restaurant. The creativity and clean flavors are astounding. So, here’s what we had – Course 1 – skirt steak lettuce wraps had an Asian twist and dueled over between my wife and daughter (PS we ordered a 2nd to take back to our property), lobster bisque (one of the best I’ve had – ever!), watermelon and cucumber salad with fried little feta bombs and again this Asian twist on dressing that was terrific, roasted broccoli in a sauce that was somewhere between ranch and something I can’t place but we all adored — 2nd course (yes we love food – especially GREAT food) – flat iron steak for my daughter with fries and spinach I believe, butter poached lobster with a spinach risotto that blew minds, and lastly roasted chicken with a gravy and a corn risotto not to be missed or taken lightly. And to not forget – their bread at the start included Johnny cakes that my wife and daughter tore up so fast I didn’t get a taste, along with some homemade pumpkin and banana bread – insert lip smacking noises here. Waitstaff, hostesses and live musics were all too top top notch!! Thank you, again, to the staff, cooks, everyone at Veya – can’t wait to come back!!
